I had a knit dress altered, and while visually it was ok the alterations done: 1) didn't actually fix one of the issues I raised, just ended up tightening the biceps of my dress. 2) they used a straight stitch to do the work, which means the thread is already breaking after two wears, because knit fabrics stretch, and thus need stretch stitching. Frankly if I wanted straight stitches I'd have done it myself, and it certainly wouldn't have cost me $50.

However, my sister got a cotton dress altered here and she loves the work that was done, and plans to return for future alterations.

So in conclusion I would say that this is a good place to bring your non-stretch garments to be adjusted, but I would hesitate to bring anything with...

Always went here for dry cleaning in the past. Not much needed dry cleaning ever in 2020 for me. So after such a long break in service it was refreshing to seethe bustling cleaners still at it,sweet as ever, and this time for alterations (that 2020 stress made losing 40 lbs look easy and I needed pants!)
