I was here tonight, Friday 01/27/2023 @ 6:00 PM, they were very busy. The gal who took our order was friendly and patient even though there were a line of people waiting and we are somewhat new to eating there. My wife got a turkey burger,I got a double Sonoma with cheddar and caramelized onions, regular tater tots, sweet potato tater tots and an order of onion rings. We sat down as we were eating in and after a bit I went and gathered condiments for us. They have everything you would ever want for condiments and more. The younger girl hustling around cleaning tables was showing an extra effort to actually clean the tables, not just sweep stuff onto the floor quickly and move on, in the bustle of the place I made sure to tell her she was doing a good job. Every employee was working and appeared driven to do a good job. The guy checking orders and calling names was the backbone of this operation from what I could see. He checked every order for accuracy whether it was to go, dine in or some delivery service. He spoke loudly and clearly so there was no confusion. When I got our order after what seemed like about 25 minutes it was perfect, burger was exactly as ordered and very tasty, my wife said the turkey burger was cooked perfect and juicy. The tater tots were exactly how I like them, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the onion rings had great flavor and were cooked perfect. My burger tasted delicious and the caramelized onions were really good. I don't mind waiting a little while when the food comes out cooked to perfection and correct. We ordered WAY too much but we were happy to take it home along with a couple of the sauces. The pickled vegetables and cucumber pickles were both very refreshing and crunchy. It was about $50 for the two of us including a beer which seemed fair considering the quality of the food. They were hitting on all cylinders tonight under huge pressure and while the order took a little while, the guys in the back had the integrity not to let their quality slip and I...
Read moreIt was a cold rainy night when I felt an aggressive craving for a fried chicken sandwich. I looked up some some places and this one was at the top. Clicked on the place and to my surprise it was in walking distance. I slid into my big yellow rubber boots, Carhaartt jacket, and camouflage and neon orange hat. I headed for a long journey in the pouring rain. While on my way I saw many cool things. Car, people, and many others were out there. It was cold and windy so I put a pep in my step and hurried up. When I saw the store I was intrigued by the store from and patio space. I walked in a felt a whoosh of warm air and the smell of fresh burgers. I was greeted by a small man. He asked me what I would like to eat and I responded, “ A single fried chicken sandwich with no tomato, a single order of tots, and a large chocolate shake.” He got my order and I was on my way. I received my meal and was back on my way home. The journey back was just as difficult and treacherous as the journey there. When I arrived at my home in unveiled the beautiful meal. At first glance everything was as perfect as can be. But that first bite, let me tell you, was one of the greatest moments of my life. When you bite into that fried chicken sandwich you hear the crunch, and juices start flowing. You can feel all the crunch breading bits and just how fresh it is. The tots were perfectly golden and had an amazing crunch. I dipped mine in ranch and it just elevated them further. And when I got the shake an was blown back at the quality they brought to the table. It was smooth, cold, and had a very strong chocolate flavor. Acme Burger is by far the BEST restaurant for quick, affordable, and delicious food. There selection is phenomenal, and food is better. I recommend this to all my friends and family and have made multiple trips back since. This is definitely a place...
Read moreTwo of us went to eat here. Trying to park in the disabled car space at the front door of premise as a Disabled Veteran with a placard for my vehicle was made difficult by a Hispanic arrogant young couple parking there white Prius without disabled tags or disabled placard. There excuse was there battery was flat. And they both tried to use “That they don’t speak English” . When I told them both thru the translator I will call police they both understood that and got in the vehicle and drove off telling a disabled veteran for me to go and get Fooked. This is my first impression of the area I was in. I ordered an Acme double burger with the works and wanted it Medium rare. After 10 minutes meal was ready. Sadly my burger was well done. Having a medical condition ulcerated colitis well cooked meat causes me to get sick and causing complications. I had to take the burger back to the counter to have the order rectified. The excuse I got from the young man behind the counter for not getting the order right that they don’t have many options on the computer display. So why wasn’t my order verbally told to the short order cook to get it right. The lack of consideration and customer service was not there. After 10 minutes a replacement burger came out. Definitely over cooked thru and nasty heavily greasy that inside serving box was dripping in grease. Inedible and nasty that I felt ill later. These over priced Boutique hamburger places like this that cannot get a burger order right when it involves cooking to the customers needs. Sadly not a establishment I will...
