PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE support this small business in Cotati. It's called Saigon Cafe and it's right by Oliver's. One of the most authentic and price-friendly Vietnamese food in Sonoma County. I've been regularly going here since I was in college & it's my go-to for comfort food. I always get the beef bun-bowl. It's a huge portion and only $13. Plus, the owner is the sweetest person ever. She's a one woman show & works allil day by herself. Her dream is to expand her restaurant to Petaluma & I hope that she'll be able to do it one day.

Fresh fast reasonably priced! I am obsessed with Vietnamese food and am so excited to have found this spot. We are visiting the area so popped in after a run and I could not have asked for a better meal. Mint was so bright and juicy, lettuce was very freshly chopped, chicken was juicy and the fried onions were so crisp and delicious. I might come try udon before this trip is over. Yum!

I come here every few weeks and order the bun bowl with chicken and fresh spring roll with shrimp. It’s consistently delicious; the ingredients are fresh and I love that it’s authentic. I highly recommend checking Saigon Cafe out.

This is one of those humble little neighborhood gems where the food is tastier than most sit down restaurants. The portions are very generous too-- this is my favorite spot when I'm feeling depleted and I want a filling, nourishing, high protein meal for a modest price. The service is super quick and kind-- everything is cooked fresh to order. It's an open kitchen and I always appreciate how incredibly clean everything is. I used to work in restaurants so unfortunately I know all too well that most do not hold themselves to such high standards. I've lived in SF, Oakland and NYC, all of which are known for their great international food, and honestly this is one of my top Vietnamese spots ever.

I usually get the beef bun bowl, shrimp rice bowl, spring rolls, or tofu bowl. Lots of gluten free...

I'm frequently in the area getting groceries at Oliver's, so this is my routine: For a quick grocery run, I'll first stop at Saigon Cafe, order a beef noodle bowl, and let her know that I'll be getting groceries for the next few minutes and I'll stop by to pick up my bowl after that. Get my groceries. Reward myself with my fresh bowl of beef noodles. Deliciously slurpable, love the lemongrass chili (?) dressing on the accompanying salad. I've found it to be both cheaper and more of a memorable experience than, say, a burger and fries or Chick-Fil-A. Plus it's healthier and supports a local restaurant. I'd include a photo but this bowl disappeared (into my stomach)...

My wife and I are in town visiting family and walked by Saigon when going to Oliver’s. We decided to grab dinner later and was very impressed. The food was really really good!! We grabbed a beef, chicken, shrimp, and Bahn xio bowls; as well as the crispy rolls. The food had great flavors and was very well prepared. It also felt good to see the owner/chef so appreciative of our order as I can imagine how tough times are with COVID. If you’re in the area, please consider supporting an honest local business rather than the larger chain food places in the area. You help support the local economy and the food is by far superior both nutritionally and...
