We hired David Carey and Camber Events to be our chef for 50 friends staying on-site throughout our wedding weekend. I am a super foodie, and wanted to treat our friends like VIP guest royalty, so I wanted the food to be a wonderful experience. Hiring Camber was the absolute best decision I ever could have made.
Our friends could not stop raving about the food all weekend. It took the guest experience from Amazing to Absolutely Unbelievably Amazing. My parents came by for one brunch and my dad, who is a super foodie and has very high standards, was totally floored and said the shakshuka was the best he has ever had.
Every ingredient was sourced locally and there was signage telling everyone what farm the eggs, steak, produce, etc. came from. Camber adorned the food with edible flowers. Even the yoghurt granola bar was hyper elevated - with premium Bellweather yoghurt, homemade granola, fruit puree, some of the best honey I've ever had (a mason jar that David sourced from a special farm in Northern California). There was not only cold brew he made, but multiple milks, homemade simple syrup AND brown sugar simple syrup. All leftovers were thoughtfully packed up and made available for guests throughout the weekend.
Beyond the food quality, which was genuinely 5 star, David and his team are SUCH kind, nice people to have around. I had tons of ideas for the menu, and David was super amenable and had no ego about collaborating on the menu and together manifesting my food dreams.
AND, must be noted that I mentioned that I love tahini and chili crisp - not only did David learn what brands I like, but he sourced those exact brands and served those items at every meal (even made sure they were at our table at our wedding reception, which he did not cater!), AND made homemade tahini chocolate chip cookies because I mentioned I love them. Outstanding food, wonderful team, personalization beyond imagination. Don't think twice - HIRE THEM!

Read moreThis week I celebrated my 80th birthday with 15 people in Santa Rosa, catered by Camber. I cannot rave enough about the way Camber and their extraordinary crew handled every detail of my 80th birthday party! I live in Hawaii, so most all communication was handled through e-mail. All correspondence from Camber was very prompt, very professional, and included numerous helpful suggestions. They recommended the perfect venue, incorporated all my menu wishes and complimented my ideas with delectable additions. ALL THE FOOD was beyond belief fabulous!! The entree choice was a filet or a whole Maine lobster. My husband said it was beyond doubt the best steak he had ever eaten anywhere, and the lobsters were very large and perfectly cooked. All my guests raved about the food, the service, and how magnificent every plate looked! The dessert table was an assortment of beautiful and delicious pastries as we had agreed, and a surprise fantastic birthday cake of my favorite flavor (lilikoi…Hawaiian for passion fruit.) p
Camber assisted with setting up my music playlist, excellent speakers, a gorgeous centerpiece designed with plants and natural objects, space heaters, and so many details perfectly addressed.

I have enjoyed their food at several of their pop-ups around Sonoma county in addition to their full fine dining experience paired with Moonlight Brewing's beer in Healdsburg. The fact that they can pull off a pop up tent in front of Cooperage serving sandwiches to a full on Michelin-esque full service tasting menu and even further to catering a wedding with 150+ guests is a true testament to experience, time, attention to detail, and planning within the industry.
