It was my first time at an Aldi's. I was super weary of the quality of their products...only because I believed rumors of the meat not being great and I heard the produce wasn't fresh but let me tell you! The strawberries I got yesterday were some of the best I've ever had. Juicy and flavourful. I had my husband try them since he's the one that heard the produce rumor and he sure changed his mind quickly. I bought chicken legs to grill and the price was to die for and the chicken was fresh. Super juicy too! My husband ended up eating 5 legs at dinner alone and he ate the leftovers for lunch the next day. Which says a lot because we are "that family" that just keeps leftovers for the sake of storing them in the fridge until they make their way to the garbage. I filled my cart and since I'm on a strict budget I was so worried I had gone over...I do every time at Walmart....BUT I actually came in at budget ($10 over compared to the $60+ I go over other places). I left feeling great! Like "Yes! I'm going home and showing the family all I bought today!!" I think I've switched for good now. Aldi's is amazing! At least the one in Cottage...

I waited patiently for the employee to move away from the space I needed to get the mushrooms. As I was grabbing the mushrooms, the employee rudely said, " Hey, I'm trying to work here." I said, I'm trying to shop here too. What happened to customer service? No reply. It's a very sad day when customers are a bother and inconvenience to store employees. I would also like to add that the store manager also needs a class on customer service She was extremely rude to my wife 5 days earlier when there was a 1 day delay in pick up of ordered groceries that she was picking up.
