1-Star Review for Tech Castle & Matt

Absolutely terrible experience. I took my PC to Tech Castle for a simple wipe and reinstall of Windows, and Matt assured me he’d diagnose the issue by Wednesday or Thursday. I gave him all the details upfront to make things as easy as possible, even explaining the likely causes of the issue. Thursday comes, and I call around noon for an update—he tells me he hasn’t even looked at it yet but promises to check after lunch and have an answer (and possibly a fix) by closing time.

Five more hours pass. No update. I call again before they close, and Matt just says, “Ahhh man, my bad, I haven’t even looked at it yet.” No urgency, no professionalism—just wasted time. Meanwhile, I had reached out to a few other repair shops earlier in the week, and they actually got back to me, diagnosed the issue quickly over the phone, and one of them had my PC completely fixed in an hour.

I wasted days waiting on Tech Castle, spent gas driving back and forth, and thankfully took my business elsewhere—to a place that values their customers, communicates properly, and fixes simple problems in a reasonable timeframe. I never leave reviews unless they’re well deserved, and unfortunately, this one is. If you need tech repairs, do yourself a favor and go somewhere that actually...

As good as the reviews may seem do not send your pc here. I sent my gaming pc here multiple times in the past and every time it was returned there was somthing wrong with it still. I asked for a certain graphic card and they either put the wrong one in or they scammed me but they charged me over 1500 for it and thats how much the graphic card was and i looked at the pc when it came in and it was a gtx ti 1070 and that graphic card ranges from 900-400 it was a fw1 so probably about 500 but i asked for a complete refund and they did respond I then showed up at there place and i wanted to speak with the owner or manager then I was kicked out of there store and banned btw they did ask me for a receipt and i did not have it but yea I showed them the messages and said they dont know who i was. But just dont buy from these guys most of the 5 star reviews are fake google emails and there workers that work there . I hope they go out of business they scammed me out of a lot of money and I did not bother calling police because there was not really anything they could do I hope whoever may be reading this will change your mind and send your pc somewhere else. If your just buying a part from there store thats fine but just dont let them work on...

I have purchased two refurbished computers, a desktop and a laptop, from Tech Castle. Matt was the technician who advised me each time. I brought an old laptop in on a Friday morning. It turned out to be unreliable, and probably had motherboard.Issues. Having need for a reliable laptop to use the following monday at an out of town conference, Matt and I discussed options. Bottom line, I purchased at a very reasonable price a refurbished laptop. Turn around time to prep the new machine and sync data from my old machine was under three hours on a Friday afternoon.
