Peking Restaurant — Restaurant in Covington

I placed my order through door dash. I placed an order for Lemon Chicken with lo mein noodles, $16.50. There was a picture in the menu of this item. I have ordered Lemon Chicken dozens of times from different Chinese restaurants in the past and it is basically the same from each place. Deep fried chicken, lemon glaze, pineapple pieces, carrots, onion, bell peppers, etc. But never, ever have I had it served with lettuce!. What I got from this restaurant was approximately 10 pieces of fried chicken on top of a handful of lettuce. There were no other vegetables and thank goodness the lemon sauce was on the side. I called the restaurant and spoke to a manager who apparently thought this was funny because the whole time I am talking to him he is laughing telling me that the picture I saw was an old picture. (false advertising) I asked to speak to the owner but he is out till Monday. Needless to say I will never order from there again. I will be calling back on Monday to try and speak with the...

Absolutely GARBAGE establishment. I used to love it. They will now take your order for delivery and call you an hour later and tell you they don't deliver. Even though it says it on the door, Google, and their website. And when you call they will accept the delivery order and just never send it. Instead they direct you to Door Dash. Guess what? The prices are 30-50% higher than their in store menu. Not talking about Door Dash fees; the menu items. Example: crab Rangoon is 5.50$ on the current menu, it's 10$ on Door Dash. They are cheats. This is a disgusting business practice. Sorry I'm not paying 15$ for low tier sesame chicken. I confronted the ownership about all of the above and they literally laughed about it. They tried to blame Door Dash but basically said they don't care. Ended up taking home cold food home with no compensation. Go to Hot Wok or Oriental Express instead.

I LOVE this place I don’t understand the bad reviews every time I come here, I absolutely love this place. The food is always fresh and flavorful even with delivery. My food shows up hot. I have never once had a bad experience with this place. This place has become my go-to Chinese food they have so many options. I usually get the sweet-and-sour chicken and fried rice, chicken is hot and fresh The sweet-and-sour sauce is flavorful tangy sour with sweetness lightly salty. The rice is always fresh and hot perfectly cooked. Food is a great price for the portion sizes of food I always end up with leftovers which are just as good later on, when I’ve gotten takeout, the staff is always so nice and sweet.
