Gold Star — Restaurant in Covington

This is a newer location in the scheme of things. I tried it after Jack (Florence KY location) retired, but heard that his family owns this one so I felt confident changing locations. Great service. I know we'll never get that personal touch that Jack could offer (he knows my entire family, even the ones that visit from Seattle and NYC), but this has become my new primary location . The staff is always friendly and attentive and the order is always correct and served hot. Except the salads - it would be awful if they were hot. Two things I would change on the corporate level: bring back the garlic bread and keep the original recipe hot mets on the menu (the ones with Jalapeños and without sriracha). This is my first time visiting this location. I went thru the drive-thru and realized I received the wrong order once I got home. So I went back to the location and the guy said they will make a fresh order. Once my food was done he handed it to me and it was incomplete. They left out the fries. A couple minutes later I received the fries. Not once during this interaction did they apologize for delaying my lunch or for the inconvenience to go back out in this very cold weather to get the correct food I paid for. This gold star used to be the best and now the cooks can't get a basic order right on a consistent basis. This is LITERALLY the 5th time in a row they've made a pretty simple burger completely wrong. I've called multiple times and spoken to multiple different WOMEN who all say the GM isn't in. Just called again because my burger is once again wrong and they answered the phone snickering, yelling/cussing and ignored me to keep yelling/playing with her coworker. I've been a line cook for a long time and I get mistakes happen, I tried to let it roll off the first two times but this year, it's been wrong every time.
