Jumble Store Thrift Shop — Local services in Cranford

Not a very inviting store. People are not friendly. I kept getting Looks from two women who I assumed work there coming in and out while i was trying to find a parking and I found a parking and they're still looking and I asked if there's a problem Am I not allowed to park there and they're like yeah you're allowed to park there. Don't understand what they kept giving me looks for but anyway the store's not worth even going in if you have to deal with people like that. If someone were to come in my store I would definitely be cheery and say hello to each and every customer. Bad customer service!! I also read some of the other reviews and there's a lot of people saying the same thing. Do you think that they would change their attitudes!! I recently visited this thrift store and it became one of my favorites. They have many different options: men’s, women’s, kids, home decor, toys, games, movies, etc. And everything is at such an affordable price. The store is clean and organized, they also have fitting rooms where you can try on your pieces! The owner is really nice and helpful. They have a special promition each day where they do 75%, 50% off different colored tags! I got a cashmere sweater for $6 and a blazer for $2 ! Will definitely be back here. Loved it here so much. The store clerk makes very condescending comments about peoples appearance; in a way that is demeaning to the customers. Not only that but she is constantly asking nosey questions about your personal life. Lastly, she never fails to say something like: "Wow. I cannot believe that item was priced at X. I would have charged you double." It is the most bizarre thing because it happens every time. It seems like a weak attempt to get you to spend more money, but in reality it makes the customer feel very uncomfortable; at the exact moment of purchase.
