Just got back into pool and was happy to see o their website that Legion Bowl opened at 3:00, was walking distance from my house, and $10 for 90 minutes. Arrived at 3:40 with 2 bowlers. No staff to be found. Bowlers finally found a guy who appeared to be the owner who seemed very put out that people were there to spend money. The tables were decent. Cashed out in under 90 minutes and charged $18. I show him the website. He says let me make a call and check, he proceeds to tell the person on the other end of the phone to change the price to $14 an hour. H ignored me untilI asked if he was going to make good on the advertised price to which he said NO. Will not be back, not " fun for the while family" miserable and dishonest Will

I've only been duckpin bowling once in my life and I've never seen one that was fully automatic scoring. This place is in really good condition for having the original ball returns and I was told they're slowly modernizing everything. Had the opportunity to come right when it opened up. It's always nice having a bowling alley to yourself. For a Sunday the music they played was like any bowling alley, all the hits pre 2000 it seemed Haha. I think that's a requirement for any alley regardless of type. Ample amounts if billiards tables and a pub too, which we did not get to try BUT the place is very spacious. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly.

Nothing has changed in here since the 1950s, there's some good in that and bad. Many things are in rough shape, they need new balls, the lanes and ballreturns to be refinished. Household paper towels for drying your hands is wasteful. They need some real help. It's a historical building so I hope the upkeep starts getting done before it's too late. Please keep these beautiful ball returns though! Style from a bygone era! Still I say support them so these fixes can be made. Owners, start a fundraising campaign and ensure the money goes towards repairs, no corruption. This is a place we need to keep in town. If a dollar general goes up in its place WE RIOT.

This place was terrible, half of the games didn't work, just ate our money ( strike one). While I was waiting for the rest of my party to show up, three couples came in and didn't have anyone to serve them because the cashier did everything, one employee in the place. So terrible customer service (strike two) . At the end of the night I purchased 2 games of bowling, so after one game the 4 and 10 yr old got restless. So I offered to just take 10 dollars in quarters to put back in his machines instead of playing the last game, which would have lead in me losing three more dollars to this place, which he told me it's not in the policy to do refunds. Which isn't posted anywhere, on top of that, he had to fix our machine twice while we bowled. Never again save your money, I never do these reviews, but...
