I travel for food and drinks as I’m a foodie and that’s my passion! To travel an hour and a half to this cafe was not a big deal but nonetheless disappointing. I ordered food and asked for avocado spread to be placed on the side they gave me avocado slices. I asked if I could still get the spread they proceeded to tell me that I’d get charged for the goat sandwich because that’s what it comes with. Confused I informed the girl I only wanted the spread she offered the everything seasoning bottle. I abide and sprinkled it on the avocado slices trying not to be difficult. I wanted another tres leches latte and somehow they gave me a pumpkin tres leches latte I asked if they can change it as I did not want the pumpkin and she stated you drank out of it. Confused again I looked at her and responded how else was I gonna realize it was pumpkin? She then stated she had a lot of tickets and turned around continuing what she was doing. To me that’s bad customer service because I traveled all this way to enjoy my time here and I get rushed and not satisfied. I would have waited for the correct latte and instead of making sure I was content she walked away from me leaving me with the pumpkin tres leches I did not want. Smh I get you’re busy but I would have waited for the correct latte!! Would I drive all this way again? Probably not. Customer service is big for me and these girls definitely lack it in a big way and considering the reviews it seems like it’s something that happens more often than not. Maybe get new staff. I forgot to mention that I did not see a restroom for customer use. Not sure there is one in...
Read moreIt’s good to support local mom and pop businesses with so many chains. It’s nice to see small business’s keeping it in the community. The place has a cool decorative vibe. Too bad Cranston is small and can’t support longer hours. Ordered the New Yorker, Bagel with Bacon, Egg and cheese with a Cortadito (expreso with steamed milk) Sucks when the staff doesn’t follow through with the promised expectations. A little bit disorganized when it came to receiving the order. One person took my order, and my sandwich came out promptly from the kitchen area. Felt a little rushed for something prepared well. The kitchen sounded busy, expectations were high. The sandwich was not. Advertised as the New Yorker, this was not on a bagel. This was a Supermarket purchased knock off bagel. Which tasted like an English muffin. Asked for mayo they offered a mayo ketchup, that was also not added. Was charged an extra $.50 for the sauce without being told it would be extra. That’s a huge customer service fail. The cortadito was also a fail, the expresó is strong. But the milk to espresso ratio was off. Waited for the person who took my order to make my drink as it looks like who takes the order makes the drink. Which is silly as it looks like bad customer service and lack of team work. The one person left after they made their drink and went to the back. Then the other person came back out to finish the drink. Overall I wouldn’t waste the trip, as this was corner store (bodega) food at best. Ridiculous pricing. $13 for a coffee with milk and bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is absurd. ...
