We spent three weeks trying to order from this place but from the phone being busy, to being put on hold and disconnected, it proved very difficult. The one time we did get through we were told it would be at least a 2 hour wait. We finally decided to just call at much earlier in the day and place an order ahead of time to be ready at 5pm, and it was ready exactly as we had hoped. We ordered a Meatball Sub, Meat Calzone, Garlic Knots, Cheese Bread, and a large Pepperoni Pizza. Total came up to just under $60.

I want to preface this by saying that we all were super excited, and really wanted to like the meal. Unfortunately everything tasted very bland, and was not good. I think it has something to do with the bread as it seemed really off and "cheap" and reminded me of the frozen pizzas from Walmart, probably similar to Little Caesars bread. The cheese bread was basically just 3 pieces of toast with cheese on it, and the meatball sub was smaller than I was expecting, and I was charged an additional $3 to have cheese on it, which is typically expected on a meatball sub. The garlic knots were unremarkable and just tasted like cheap bread. The pizza had few pepperoni and overall had a very bland flavor, again, similar to a frozen pizza. The only redeeming factor was the Calzone, it was actually large, full of cheese, and had a good taste, and is the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. I have never been to Brooklyn NY so this may be authentic. Maybe this is similar to the $1/slice pizza they sell in the Bodegas?

This was purchased for 6 people to share, and all 6 of us were surprised at how expensive it was for what we received, and were shocked at how unimpressive the meal was. Just to give a comparison, Dominos, and Hungry Howies is better. Marcos is light years ahead of this, and even the pizza at Sam's Club is far better. The meatball sub at Firehouse is significantly better as well. Needless to say we were all very disappointed in everything except for the calzone.

Overall, it is possible we caught them on a bad night, and we may try them again someday, but after this experience we will probably choose to...

Let me just tell you, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ain't got nothing on my love of good Pizza and being kinda pudgy, rocking a sweet beard and dad-bod, and growing up for part of my childhood with NYC in the horizon, I consider myself a Pizza Conesoiur. So, here's an honest review.

Its good. I'll start with that, but its not great. The ingredients are fresh, sauce is flavorful and true to what they should be. The dough is so...so close to being just right. The lack of thin dough bubbles, no semolina under the crust, and a not chewy enough crust are the downfalls. It passes the grease test, not too much. It was delivered hot with plenty of melty cheese. We had one large Sausage and mushrooms, and another large with Pepperoni and Jalapeños. Our 12 year old's only complaint is about too many toppings, or maybe the spacing...if those are even complaints. The two larges fed 3 of us with basically a whole pie left over. Pricing for premium pizza made by hand from a locally owned business is appropriate for the quality.

I give it a 4.25 out of 5 because of the crust. Yeah, its that important...seems like a gluten thing to me, but i don't know. We are pretty lucky to have a few very good locally owned pizza places in our town that you can't find elsewhere. We have tried Brooklyn's a few times, and its definitely better than the last place in the location. We will absolutely order from them again as well as the other locally...

Ordered pizza on September 20,2024 for take out. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a 2L coke for me and my wife. What’s beyond infuriating is that I only ordered one item which for me and my wife we haven’t ordered take out food in over 2 years as it’s a big no no but today we had a extremely long day and decided last minute to order from a place we never eaten from and order delivery. The pizza got to our house and ITS THE WRONG ORDER. It had my name on the box so surely they made a mistake. Now I get it mistakes are made but all I did was order a pepperoni 18 inch pizza and somehow somewhere someone didn’t read the extremely easy order of “pepperoni pizza” and made it a only cheese pizza. We weren’t going to call and complain because it is what it is but my review will reflect the service we received especially since we’re playing for a service and the service failed for a very mindless task.

With that said the pizza itself as I’m from NY originally, it was pretty close to the real deal I’d give it a 8.5/10. Flavor was good, foldability top notch, not super greasy.

It really sucks the service took this review to the grave but it’s kinda upsetting when you order one item, 40 minutes later the order is wrong. We’ll give this restaurant another good at some point but please just do better we’re playing you for your services don’t want to be feeling like we wasted...

This place just opened, therefore, it was insanely busy but apparently, there was only one dedicated server for the entire small restaurant. The wait was extremely long. Over 20 minutes just to order drinks and such. The food took another 30+ minutes to get our appetizers. The caprese salad came with lettuce....that's weird. And it had 3 small pieces of mozzarella. The wings were ok. It was flavorful on the outside but zero seasoning on the inside. They obviously didn't marinate or brine their wings. The shrimp were a good size and tasty. The pizza - it was extremely greasy and the bottom crust undercooked. I've had pizza in NY, my husband is from there. This is not NY pizza, lol. The waiter and staff are very friendly and apologized for the extreme wait. There were many people that walked in and left. And another couple next to us that got up and left, they were there before us and only received drinks. It just didn't seem like the restaurant was ready for a grand opening. Lastly, we spent almost $100 for the 2 of us. We probably won't be back.
