Second time ive attempted to receive treastment first time was 2022 i needed an epidural in my neck but due to scar tissue it required a cathader to push thru previous scar tissue. i knew not many preformed this but it was only way to get the epidural up thru where i had a large from a C1-2 fusion. i asked they check with mng because there earliest appoitment was 45-60 days wait time. i asked they talkn to doctors to make sure i did not want to waist 45-60 then be told we cant do that and i was insured they had doctors capable well im waited till the day before my procedure i received a call there doctors had just reviewed my procedure never looked at it when i expressed the severty of this procedure and i was assured they had qualified doctors well that wasnt true and i waited then they read the day before procedure and call and say they do regulkar epiduirals not ones with the use of a cathider and after 3 neck surgeries and over 50 epidurals the last 5-8 were with a cathider so very un professional. now this time im 6 weeks post op of my 7th neck surgery and by law surgens can only write pain medication for 60 days and so im on morphine to control my pain also valium and baclafin for the past 2 yrs ive been on pain meds and valium so im referred by my surgeon whem i arrive i had to fill out 2 hrs of paperwork on paper then the same questions on a tablet my list of meds was sent so i see the doctor who obviously does not read or review any attention to a refferal by a sergeon and a paient who just had there 7th surgery there provided my medication that my sergeon had put me on when i had my 4th surgery in 2022 and the doctor says you take valium i cant prescribe pain meds i told him my doctor had me on that and another pain dr has prescribed it for past 2 years he denied my sergeon would prescribe those meds together and accused me that i wasnt truthful i offered to go to my truck and get the bottles with my dr name plus flexreil he never looked at the refferal or made a single attempt tp make sure he could provide what my doctor had put me on so any doctor or phacility that doest review refferals should not...
Read moreI moved from out of state and called months before hand to make sure I’d still be able to get same medication I was on and same dosage. Was told no problem. Had all medical records sent from prior pain management. Got here and they won’t proscribed the meds. So they are reducing my medication dosage and not giving me anything for the pain that I’m experiencing from that reduction. I’ve been on this medication and dosage for 16 years. So now I’m suffering and now they want to send me to an addiction clinic for help with that pain I’m experiencing with dosage change. Aren’t they pain management? Previous doctors tried several times to reduce my dose and even try different meds but it was unsuccessful. My blood pressure shoots up from pain and I get physically sick from the pain. And not to mention the depression from having to spend all my time in bed. Just think I’d like to be heard and seen as a human and not a drug addict because I have to be on high doses of narcotics for my pain. It’s not like I have back pain. I had intensive surgery that resulted in large inoperable hernia and loss of muscle and ribs. Extensive scar tissue as well. I was doing great for last 16 years until I moved to Florida and now can’t find a pain doctor to treat me like they would if I were a family member in that kind of pain. I have never overdosed and have been very careful in using medication and after that long on this medicine and having an active life I’m virtually bed ridden and in...
Read moreI just moved from Oklahoma and am need of a pain management doctor, when I made the appointment I told the staff what works for me and asked if the doctor would be able to accommodate. I was assured that he would. I was told to arrive 40 minutes early for a 0800 appointment, the clinic does not open until 0800! I arrived at 0720 am and waited 10 minutes in my car until someone arrived to the clinic another 30 minutes before I was given paperwork to fill out and was told i was late. I was NOT late. I then waited another 45 minutes for the doctor only to be told he only does injections. I've had four rounds of three injections in my thoracic, lumbar and cervical spine, nerve block, nerve burn, acupuncture, tens unit, chiropractic therapy, massage therapy, talk therapy, surgery and stimulation of the Vages nerve in my ear. Aside from surgery that worked for a few years then the spine above and below the site is damaged., NOTHING else works. Not sure why they want me to try everything all over again if it has NEVER worked in the past attempts. Communication failed me in the clinic, doctor didn't seem to care he only wanted to try what has never worked before, did not seem to care what I had to say, after he told me he wouldn't help me he then marked on the sheet for me to follow up. Why...
