Review for Pizza Hut, 2221 S. Ferdon, Crestview, FL:
I recently visited the Pizza Hut located at 2221 S. Ferdon in Crestview, FL, on a Thursday at 6 pm. While this is understandably a busy time, my experience was frustrating and pointed to serious issues with either understaffing or poor management/leadership.
Upon arrival, I found the lobby full of customers—at least ten people—waiting for service. It was shocking that we were not acknowledged for at least 10 minutes. This lack of customer service is unacceptable. Many of us had prepaid online, including myself, with an $80 order. Had it not been for this prepayment, I would have left.
Despite the online order status and the in-store screen both indicating that my order was ready, I ended up waiting approximately 30 minutes. When I was finally acknowledged, the staff member took my name, retrieved my receipt, and then disappeared into the back for another 15-20 minutes. During this time, I could see and hear the workers preparing pizzas, but they appeared overwhelmed and disorganized.
It wasn’t until people in the lobby began to request assistance that any help was provided. The staff member then went to the food warmer and handed me my order, which had been sitting there since before I even entered the store.
This lack of efficient service and communication is deeply concerning. A simple acknowledgment and regular updates to waiting customers could have significantly improved this experience. Additionally, better coordination among staff and more effective handling of orders during peak times are crucial.

Read moreI came in from out of town and visited this location on May 24. I was waiting on my order when this Allison lady came in. She asked to see her pizza then complained about holes in it? The cashier offered to remake it and even asked if extra cheese was supposed to be on the order. The lady said no but go ahead and remake it. The cashier put the order in and even told the cook (polite young black guy) to be sure to make her order. At this point I’m sus about this lady bc she just puts off Karen vibes. Sure enough she yells back to the cashier “am I gonna have to make do with cold wings and cheese sticks?” Cashier comes back and said no ma’am I placed it all to be cooked fresh. She leaves and the cashier and I start chatting about various things to do around town. The order comes out and the lady comes back in finally. They show it to her (now the cook, the cashier and I assume it’s a delivery driver are all making sure it passes). Lady goes ITS BURNT Just cancel it. And then storms out. She did sit out side in front of the door for 20 min so I couldn’t leave bc she was freaking me out.
I was waiting to see if she reviewed them so I could defend them. That team was excellent customer service. Having been in the industry for over 40 years, I would have been proud to have any of them on my team.

2 stars were given for the friendliness of some staff. Other than that below describes the subpar service.
Consistent wrong order. I stopped ordering pizza hut since my order was consistently wrong. My wife and I always order a half and half pizza since we can never decide on the same pizza. They almost always make the pizza wrong and although it benefits me with my triple meat, my wife won't eat since she is a cheese pizza person.
When you call or talk to the delivery driver for a correction they claim they will call you back and rarely do. You have to call multiple times before getting your order approved by the manager and corrected, and by the time your pizza arrives or you go pick it up in person an hour has passed. Plus the pizza makers are not consistent. You can put 2 exact pizzas side by side and be amazed at the differences.
Don't order additional sauces for delivery they usually NEVER arrive. And, the driver almost always forgets the 2 liter. Not sure why but these problems always...
