I had a horrible full body massage experience at this place. I have been getting massages for many years. First, noone spoke English at this place it was a struggle to communicate about the service/technique that I wanted. I wanted the 1 hour $60 massage. The massage person kept trying to call someone by telephone that could speak with me in English and that took almost 15 minutes to do. I should have followed my first mind and gotten off the table and left. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I stayed. What a mistake! The massage was so rough, and repetitive my skin was sore to the touch afterward from being over worked. Also, I screamed out in pain at least three times. By the time the massage was over I was almost paralyzed. I literally couldn't walk I was in so much pain that the massage lady had to call the person by phone again to figure out what to do. I told them that they need to tell her help me out to my car. I was in tears the pain was excruciating and they still expected payment!!!!
The next morning I had to go to Urgent Care the pain was still so intense which was very expensive. They gave me a steroid shot combined with a muscle relaxer and three other prescriptions including some for the pain. Its four days later and I am still trying to recuperate from what happened and I am out $200.00 for the massage, doctor fee, and prescriptions! Massages are supposed to be relaxing and this was traumatizing. This facility is NOT where you should go if you are seeking a zen, ambienced filled relaxing massage. I will never ever go...
Read moreMy husband and I booked a 60minute couples massage on 4/6 for 4pm. We were not seen until almost 4:20. Not that big of a deal, but nobody seemed to know what was going on, or told us why we were waiting. The massage rooms need some serious re modeling, and better sheets etc. The massage tables looked like a childs bed. About 5 minutes into my massage the lady answered her cell phone, to take another appointment down. Not even 10 minutes later, she took another call. VERY unprofessional. After I expressed my frustration, she stepped out of the room and another lady took over. The 2nd lady did an excellent job, but I was so annoyed I had a hard time enjoying the remaining time I had. My husband very much enjoyed his massage, as it was his first time, I don't think he had much expectations. You can also hear everything in the lobby while you're on the massage table, people talking, eating, customers walking in, phone ringing. It just wasn't very "zen".
I also hate that the massage therapist stand around and look over your shoulder while you're paying to see how much tip you're leaving.
I wish this place left a better impression, but I will...
Read moreThis was different from any other massage that I’ve ever had. When I walked in, they asked my name and was immediately asked for payment. I’ve never paid before I received service but ok no problem. They wanted me to sign and leave the tip blank. That was a little alarming so I put zero and said I would pay cash for my tip. In the treatment room there was not really a place to put your belongings. No oil was immediately used, instead the half of a sheet that you use to cover your body was used for a good part of the massage. The pressure is good, however, it was more like deep rubbing or kneading not her actual hands. Once I was finished the lady that did my massage was waiting at the desk and they asked me to add the tip on my receipt instead of cash. The uncomfortable part was the lady stood right next to me the entire time and watched me write my tip on the receipt. Would I go back,...
