I went in to get a couple of things. One item specifically was gorilla glue. Got home. I went to use it, and what do you know it was dried. I went back and told them, and they were willing to exchange it, but guess what? ... they could not find one on any of the end caps that were not dried up, so a refund was issued. Fast forward I had revisited the store a couple time for other things and on the way around was noticing all the same glue bottles were in the same condition so I spoke to staff to inform them that they have a bad product on the floor and it should be pulley. On the other visit, I asked for a manager and even showed her the problem. A couple of months now have passed, and I'm still seeing dried glue on every end cap they have. What is the problem? Do they not value their costumes' time or their...
Read moreFor many years, I've been a customer of Hobby Lobby in Crystal Lake, but my recent experience with the framing department was so poor that I will not be returning. A simple framing job took three separate attempts to complete professionally.

Something as simple as trimming an 8x11 photo to fit an 8x10 frame (a two-minute task) was refused, with the excuse that it would take weeks because they “have custom framing in the back and need to get to it first.” All it takes is for them to take the photograph, shave off one side and that’s it. They’ve been doing it forever.
Two weeks ago, they trimmed a photo so poorly that the wording was cut off and still handed it to me. On top of that, they’ve been out of stock on various floor vases and decor for over three months. This place just isn’t the...
