PAID $11,000 FOR A COUCH THAT’S STILL IN PIECES.
We’ve had FOUR separate service visits, and we are still missing parts of our $11K couch. •Before the sale: No one mentioned it would take at least 10 weeks to arrive until after we paid. •Delivery #1: A major piece (the console) was missing. •Visit #2: Brought the wrong console. •Visit #3: Brought a console…with the wrong brackets. Took it back. •Visit #4: Showed up to “fix the brackets”… but didn’t bring the console.
That’s not just a mistake…it’s a pattern of disorganization and lack of accountability.
I’ve been more than patient. I called the store manager last Thursday. She apologized and promised a call back Friday. I never heard from her. I called again Tuesday to speak with the district manager. Was told I’d get a call. Still nothing. Then I got an automated call saying someone was coming to my house. No one had the courtesy to inform me beforehand. When he arrived, he was rude, defensive, and argued with me about why a GAP in the couch was “fine.” I had to ask him twice to tighten the brackets, because my child’s legs could fall into the gap and touch the floor.
Let me be clear: I wouldn’t even expect this level of negligence from a budget retailer. But from a company that charged three times the price of Ashley Furniture, I expected at least competent service.
And yet… after months, I still don’t have a complete, functional couch… that I paid 11k in cash for.
Do better. And please bring me the console...

Savannah and Anisa embraced this challenge with enthusiasm! First, they had us come into the shop to understand what our style and needs were which they then used to guide their suggestions and design. They drove almost 2 hours (one way) to meticulously measure our home in order to develop a 3D plan to guide us in making certain the furniture fit our spaces. They helped coordinate everything and worked in the furniture pieces we already. The final selections were exactly what we wanted. They never flinched if we didn't like a particular selection. Instead, they found out what we were looking for and replanned the design. Our furniture has not arrived yet, but they have said they will come with the delivery team to ensure that all the pieces are place correctly and help us with any questions we have. Savannah and Anisa are a tremendous team! Savannah has an unbelievably extensive knowledge of La-Z-Boy products and outstanding communication skills. They always did what they said they would do, and I always knew I could count on them in the process. Savannah is detail oriented and didn't let anything slip through the cracks. Since it was so close to closing I told Melanie what I was looking for right away. She took us to several specific recliners that she believed would satisfy my needs. She asked very specific questions to hone in on matching me with the best recliner possible for my needs. She was very professional, not pushing any specific unit, brand, price or fabric. After basically focusing on three specific recliners I selected the one that I felt best suited my needs. Turns out the unit I selected was discounted 57% for the holiday sale. Melanie was also helpful in suggesting additional pieces of furniture that would complement the recliner should we be interested. When the paperwork was completed it was 20 minutes past the store’s closing time. Melanie never once looked at her watch or indicated that we needed to move along.
