Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Georgia

This place has been one of our favorite place to eat. My family is always a loyal customer here until recently, we've experience a rude server.

Her name was Natalia, as soon as we set down our table, me , my husband and daughter went to get our food while my son remains in our table to look for our belongings. Natalia went to my son and told him " Go and get your food, dont worry about your table as no one will touch this", in a sttict tone of voice. My son told me as if he's being scolded by the server. I asked him maybe she just want to assure you that she will look after our table, but he said she seems to be mad as she is like scolding him. I told him to let it pass.

Then I asked to have a texas pete pepper sauce which I usually asked whenever I'm there, she guve me thatglance look as seems to almost rolled her eyes on me. What the heck! But stillI manage to compose myself but Im really offended by her action. The other server whom my husband ask to have the pepper sauce, brings the sauce I asked coz Natalia seems to be not hearing any request.

Of all the server I've encountered in the place, Natalia is the worst. I hope she would not do the same to others as what she did to us. I am hoping that Golden Coral will also educate her on how to handle customer professionally.

I would suggest to avoid the Natalia as server as she is not customer oriented person.

I did not brought this up to the manager as there were lots of customers. We even wait a long line for almost an hour before were able to get but were okay with it as the past experiences were very great. Natalia just ruined our Golden Coral's history of friendly peeps!

By all means avoid...

We typically go in Golden Corral about once a month;however, with the holidays we haven’t been in since October. This afternoon Natalya (waitress) approached me at the bar today while I was fixing my plate. She was very complementary and told me that she always likes seeing us because we’re so nice and we “tip very well”....taken aback by this comment, I didn’t interrupt. She let me know that the employees remember people “like that”. She then let me know that someone in my party from “a month ago” “took the tip off of the table”. I questioned her and she said that she didn’t see it, but the “girl in the bakery” did. I questioned her and she proceeded to accuse my mother of being the one to take “her tip”....keep in mind that my mother always pays and tips. I let her know that I wanted to speak to “the girl in the bakery”. We went over and spoke with her. Natalya let me know that she would have to translate because she didn’t speak English. The girl in the bakery spoke English very well and told me that Natalya accused her of stealing the tip from last time...After the two of them going back and forth with their stories and allegations I let both of them know that I did not believe either of them and I was going to find a manager. I spoke with the manager as well as the general manager. After speaking with my party, my mother and daughter both assured me that the last time we were in, my mother PLACED the tip in Natalya’s hand. This is not acceptable for anyone in the establishment to make such...

I'm not really understanding why I'm going to come to Golden corral to purchase a meal of $20.00 and get food that may be worth around $5.00

I make this statement after having around $14 dollars at hand, went to the line and decided to order. It was difficult for me to find anything that my funds could afford that day. The buffet plate came close to $20.00 and the offerings to be placed on that plate I felt with my experience with being a patron of cuisine, didn't total up the the extreme price. The steaks and other meat offerings looked delicious and quite succulent!

However, again, when meats are applied to the front-running Southern soul food-type offerings, collards, peas, mash po-po's, anc cornbread, just doesn't add up in my mind as of yet. I will state however, for the saving comment of this restaurant, for a place that offers a great variety of the Southern style menu with beef, pork, chicken, and fish, This place does this food well.

If a person has their funds of $25.00, I would recommend a quick loop around the block as there are other wonderful offerings who are asking for the $20.00 plate price, and offering a taste adventure that is deservedly the $30.00...
