Trends Hair & Nail Salon — Local services in Cypress

Way overpriced. I decided to try this place, as I get facials at the establishment next door. First, I acknowledge my nails are very short, which can be difficult to do, but I cannot give a pass to poor service. I was charged $35 for a basic mani and pedi, which wouldn't be so bad if the service was better. The place is pretty much a hair salon, so why they advertise as a nail salon as well is beyond me. They have one person who does nails. They do not do any sets or anything of that kind, it's just basic. They do not have a price sheet anywhere, so who knows what they'll charge the next person. The room for nails is dirty with nail polish scattered in tables. I asked when they opened and whether or not they will put the polish on display, and was told they've been open for more than 10 years. After making me wait about 15 minutes, I was finally led to a chair. While chit chat is acceptable, I was asked some really personal questions, which included whether or not I wanted to be set up with another patron. While doing my nails, the lady stopped to go and cut someone's hair. At this point, I had completely resigned myself that this was poor decision making on my part. When she was finally done with my nails, after being shown the many places on my nails that she had neglected to paint, I made my way to the register. However, they were cleaning and had stupidly mopped the tile floor with heavy amounts of Lemon lysol. I slipped twice on my way out, but was just glad to be out. RUINED my hair that I've been growing out for years. I went in to get it thinned and she convinced me long layers would help but she only gave me ONE layer 4 inches shorter than the rest of my hair.
