HEALTH HAZARD WARNING: MOLD, BUGS, AND UNWASHED SAUCE BOTTLES

Go here only if you want old mayo (contains eggs for those who don't know) from unwashed bottles, gnats and mildew in your drinks, moldy onions, poorly washed dishes holding your toppings, and multiple kinds of contamination everywhere. I can guarantee you that in the span of multiple years exactly ZERO staff were trained properly in how to clean that drink station. In fact, there was no training at all. Free ice ain't free if it comes with mold and an exciting time in the bathrooms nobody wants to clean thoroughly. What a lovely kick in the shin there.

If you are strictly NO MEAT or find yourself to be the lying few who were "allergic", don't bother entering. Everything has touched the meat. The bread, veggies, and cheese. Everything. *(I say "lying few" because they returned often despite the contamination being an actual constant. Clearly they saw no repercussions to keep them away.)

Just saying. You're better off avoiding this place like the plague. But that wouldn't stop management. Even during covid, they tried to get people to work after they had called in sick. But you'd never know if said employee were masked. 🤷

P.s. The manager, Nicole, is the one perpetuate these dangerous behaviors and so following employees do the same from her teachings, risking food poisoning or even killing those who are immunocompromised.

I brought the kiddos here for a how to eat. I have never been to this location, but my ex-husband takes them here all the time since it's right next to his doctor's office. They got their normal food and I ordered a chicken breast club sandwich. I got shredded cheese on it, it was toasted them I added spinach, pickles, tomatoes, salt and pepper and a day of oil. We sat down to eat our food. After biting into my sub I noticed the chicken breast had a funky taste. I open my sandwich and grabbed another piece of chicken breast , bit into itjust to make sure that it was the chicken breast and it was. There was a very weird taste in an even grosser aftertaste.

I waited until the kids finished most of their food and the line died down to be a little more discreet about my issue and not cause concern for other customers. I let the cashier know what was going on and she asked to taste it. The ate a piece and made lots of disgusting faces and agreed thatthere was something very off about the taste in that the aftertaste was terrible. She said, " ew why did I taste that?" She agreed that there was something wrong with the chicken. I showed her that I only really took a couple bites of the sandwich and asked if I could get something. It was about 3pm. She said the manager had just left for the day a few minutes before and there was really nothing she could do, but she could offer me 3 cookies. I didn't want three cookies, I came for a meal. She said it would throw off her count so there was nothing she could do. She never offered any appetitive. She never offered to give a quick call to get boss. There was no good plan in place for this kind of issue after 3pm. I asked for the 3 Cookies and gave them to my kiddos and left my number for her manager. This subway is by far the worst one near the barker cypress area. I’m all for understanding that everyone needs work and needs to start somewhere but you can see that no proper training has been in place here for a while. Every time I go to this location I’m constantly having to repeat myself because most of the employees don’t understand english and only speak Spanish. It’s fine if they don’t understand completely but can still do their job but when I’m repeating myself 6 times my order STILL comes out wrong it’s a problem. I ordered a simple tuna sandwich with swiss cheese lettuce and spinach and honey mustard. She repeated the order and started making my sandwich. I then take my attention off the employee to pick out some chips and the sandwich was made with no cheese, no lettuce barley any tuna and with Mustard not HONEY MUSTARD!! It’s not that hard to follow instructions especially with me pointing at what I want and repeating myself over and over. Then when you ask them to remake the sandwich they give you attitude and talk in Spanish to the other employees laughing as if it’s your fault they messed up your order. Last time going to...
