So, I don’t usually leave any type of negative reviews but did want to share my experience.
First the pros: the place is lovely and they have procedures in place to deal with covid. They also have a decent color selection.
Now, here is where things went south. I picked a red sparkle color for my toes and a lighter, almost crushed peppermint candy color for my nails, both shellac. I picked these colors because of Christmas and I just wanted a holiday theme. The pedicure was nice but the nail/manicure part wasn’t great. The technician first filed my nails without asking how I wanted them done (and I am picky so this is important), I had to ask her to trim them down and then re file them bc she made them very square and I don’t care for that look. She kind of argued with me and I had to ask again for a more rounded square look without sharp edges, which she eventually did.
Second, she painted my pinky nail with the red color and then my ring finger with the lighter color. I said that’s not what I wanted and explained the red was for my toes and the lighter color was for my nails. She spoke to the tech doing my toes who then told me it’s too light for my nails. I didn’t understand this, I wanted it to be light, and it’s my nails soooo I didn’t see an issue. She then took both polishes off my nails and painted one pink with the light color on top. I again said no, I didn’t like that, why can’t I just have the color I chose. I don’t mind if it’s light. She argued again and having already spent a good deal of time in the chair and I said okay fine, just do them all red then. I had to ask her to redo the bottom layer on both my pinky and ring finger because it’s shellac and she had taken off that layer when she removed the polishes several times. That was an ordeal in of itself.
She did my nails red and I chose a different for my toes bc at this point I was frustrated and didn’t want to spend more time in the chair. When I left, my nails looked fine. Not what I wanted but whatever.
Well, three days later, they started to chip. And now more than half my nails have peeled. This is again shellac and should last at least 2 weeks if not longer. So, yah, I’m pretty frustrated.
Needless to say, I won’t be back. I think the place is beautiful inside, the reviews are mostly positive but this was my first time going and it just ruined it for me. Continuing my search for a decent nail salon in the...
Read moreThis place is horrible went in for a pedi and full set both shellac. Well they half did my pedi they didn't scrub the dead skin off and my full set with the shellac was horrible. She said I was moving and messed up my nails but I wasn't the UV light was like melting the polish she still painted over it with the clear like that was going to fix it she only fixed my thumbs. I was getting the same color on my toes and it was doing the same to my toes finally they see I'm not happy and the lady doing my toes fixed them but the one that did my hands wasn't happy I told her it looked bumpy and the polish looked rippled and she told me it's not bumpy you just don't like the color & that I shouldn't say it's bumpy if I just don't like the color, I said if I didn't like the color I wouldn't be keeping it on my toes she just kept repeating that I didn't like the color till she snatched my hand and yelled let me see. Finally she takes it off I tell her to just remove the polish and just paint my nails clear & she insisted to paint them another color after I said just do them clear, $111.00...
Read moreNot recommending due to unprofessionalism. I’m not one to place reviews all the time but the public need to know this. I go to this place because of 2 people who does my nails very skillfully. Not anymore. This place is under a new owner and ladies!… let me say she was so rude. She says, ‘where’s your card, I said how much is my bill?’ For her to grab my card immediately is a rude habit for customer service. I have an 18% tip and she questions??? I said well hey, why do you make this complicated?! And when she realized I was upset she said ‘it’s oki, it’s oki in her accent. I have never been asked to show my card payment first before telling me how much I owe. Well sad to say, they lost a...
