I recently read about this new salon and was excited to check it out due to the affordable prices and the location. I was able to easily make an appointment online for my boyfriend and myself to get a haircut the following day. The salon is located next door to the Last Loft (owner Preston Pannek's other business), and across the street from Double Wide. It was easy to find free street parking right outside the door.

My first impression was that the salon is gorgeous! We had appointments with Cosmo, and we were his last customers of the day. He first consulted with us about what we wanted, and we showed him photos. He asked us lots of questions about our hair needs to make sure we were on the same page. My boyfriend got a men's shampoo and cut for $45, and I got a women's shampoo and cut for $55. The blowdry and style was not included in that price, which I actually appreciate, because I didn't need all that. But those services are available for an additional price.

The shampoo area is upstairs, and there is a beautiful stained glass ceiling above it for customers to look at while getting their scalp massaged. Cosmo did a great job with our shampoos- it was so relaxing! And the products he used smelled DIVINE. Afterward, he got started on cutting my hair. Cosmo took an appropriate amount of time on my hair to make sure the cut was perfect. At no point did we feel rushed even though we were the last people of the day. We got lots of individualized attention and felt pampered, even though we chose not to get the full styling experience. Cosmo even trimmed my boyfriend's beard even though that service isn't officially on the menu yet.

Overall, we were thrilled with our haircuts. Every time I style my hair I think, wow, this is a great haircut. I'm definitely going back to this salon and recommending it to all my friends. It is so hard to find an affordable salon that does excellent precision cuts and isn't really difficult to schedule an appointment with....

Extremely Disappointing – Save Your Money and Hair

I had an awful experience at this salon today. My stylist, Cessy, completely ignored my request to be gentle—I told her upfront that I have a sensitive scalp and can’t tolerate too much pulling. Despite this, she tugged at my hair roughly, and her long, sharp nails kept scratching my scalp and forehead. It was painful and uncomfortable. When I expressed this, she actually told me to "stop being dramatic." For $80, I expected care and professionalism—not pain and disrespect.

As if that wasn’t enough, Adrienne at the front desk made things worse. She kept pushing small talk and trying to keep me distracted, all while chatting loudly with Cessy. This meant my stylist was never fully focused. They were disorganized, moving all over the place trying to find basic tools like scissors. The entire vibe was chaotic and unprofessional.

Also, don’t be fooled by the pictures. The salon looks pretty online with lights and decor, but the reality is far from what’s shown.

Let’s be real—they’ll probably respond with the usual, “We’re sorry to hear about your experience,” but apologies don’t fix things after someone has left the place feeling upset and regretting they ever walked in. Your hair deserves care, your body deserves comfort, and your money deserves value. This place gave me none of those. I absolutely regret coming here and hope others think twice...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honestly my review is lonnnggg overdue and Cosmo is probably livid it took me so long! I had my most recent visit right before Thanksgiving 🥸 My first visit I was just crying over needing a blowout and wanting to cut all my hair off lmao (dramatic much)

Cosmo and I had talked about my hair goals and what I wanted to achieve and we decided that when I was ready to book my cut!

He was so thorough, we did a virtual consultation, he asked me to send some inspo photos and we talked about overall length and we both agreed a nice bob would suit my face and structure this round.

So my second time coming back and once again, I am absolutely blown away! I decided to go for the big chop, and Cosmo did not disappoint. From the moment I sat in the chair, I knew I was in good hands. Cosmo listened carefully to what I wanted and executed the perfect cut. Not only did my hair look fabulous, but I also left feeling confident and rejuvenated. The whole team is so professional, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is top-notch. If you're looking for a place where you can trust your stylist and leave with amazing hair, this is it. I'll definitely be coming back again!
