TL:DR - Dentistry that makes you wonder why every office isn’t like this. If you’re looking for a dental home that offers world-class care with a personal touch, this is the place. You simply won’t find another office like this. Period.
Park Central Dental treats you like family, which is why I have been coming here for 20+ years. The care is exceptional, the compassion is genuine, and the team consistently goes above and beyond for every patient.
Dr. Mazin Nakhleh’s great sense of humor, attention to detail, compassion, and commitment to doing things right the first time is what makes him the best dentist you will ever meet. No matter how busy his schedule is, he always finds a way to make time for his patients. There has NEVER been a time I’ve reached out and he’s said he's unavailable—even after hours, he’s willing to come in to make sure you’re not in pain. His flexibility goes beyond care—he is always willing to work with you when it comes to finances to make care accessible. That kind of flexibility and genuine care is almost impossible to find today. Beyond that, he remembers small details about his patients’ lives, checks on their comfort after procedures, and leaves you smiling and truly grateful.
Dr. Laura Fisher is equally amazing—kind, friendly, professional, and incredibly skilled. She takes the time to make you feel comfortable and confident in your care, and somehow makes even major work like a Root Canal feel painless. Her passion for dentistry shines through in every interaction.
Both of their dental assistants are knowledgeable, attentive, skilled, and make every procedure smooth and stress-free, always ready to answer questions and provide reassurance.
The front office team—Shannon and Elizabeth—are thorough, detail-oriented, and go above and beyond to work with you. Just recently, after a root canal procedure, I asked about the cost of getting night guards (knowing it would be pricey). However, Shannon went out of her way to check our benefits and found a $500 savings, and Dr. Fisher and the team adjusted their busy schedule to fit us in for scans immediately, saving us an extra 45-minute trip. This is just one small example of the dedication and care this office provides on a...
Read morePreface: I've had the same dental plan for 13 years and on that plan have seen a few dentists. I have never had the billing issues with any of those other dental practices as I've had with Park Central Dental. I'll get to that at the end.
The good: staff appears competent, and the hygienists are always friendly, engaging, and regularly make sure you're comfortable. They communicate well and follow up to make new appointments and confirm existing ones. I do feel like the doctors there try to push procedures and apparatus that are costly and probably not entirely necessary, but at least they can take "no" for an answer. My family and I do not have "problem teeth" so our experience is limited to cleanings, sealants (scam btw, just in general), and fillings.
The bad: their billing practices are highly confusing. You will receive an itemized bill that consolidates various dates of service with charges that you owe - AFTER insurance - with no explanation of why you have a balance that deviates from what they told you at the time of visit that you would owe and paid. At other practices, I've gone in and was told upfront EXACTLY what my portion of the costs would be and would NOT receive any other bills later asking for more money. There is no reason that Park Central Dental should not be able to get an exact amount from my insurance company from the get. This information is not esoteric. Clearly their system is flawed in some way. I had fillings replaced recently and was told my cost responsibility was about $1000. So, I paid it. But then I get another bill not long after. Same goes for cleanings. I should in no way be receiving another bill after I've already paid you what you told me was my patient responsibility. Additionally, I just recently received a bill for a balance I allegedly owe from almost a year ago. Prior to that I had received zero notification that I had a balance. People do not like financial surprises especially after you've been told what your patient responsibility is. We will not be continuing as patients at this practice because their cost information cannot be trusted. You've...
Read moreAn update: Dr. Laura Fisher has done so much for me, my teeth, and my confidence. Dr. Fisher is one of the very best doctors/dentists out there!! Her work is immaculate yet caring, with the best bedside manner. She is truly interested in her patients and their lives outside of her office. Dr. Fisher is always personable and treats patients with such respect. I cannot thank her enough for embarking on a long dental journey with me and sticking it out until the end. She will always be remembered not only by me, but also by my husband, my parents, and my friends (and probably my kids). There are nothing but good words to attribute to her. She’s my girl when anyone asks for a dentist recommendation! She does fabulous work in her profession! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Fisher!
Beginning of 2023: Dr. Fisher has been a lifesaver and the kindest dentist I have ever seen. Having lost a tooth, she managed to find a way to implement a temporary solution using my own tooth. I’m so appreciative of her patience and expertise. With that being the case, I made her my permanent dentist, in addition to the amazing prosthodontist that she is. I couldn’t speak more highly of Dr. Fisher and the entire staff at Park...
