DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON; The day I went, I asked Alma to touch up my baby lights at the roots because they had already grown out. I was so specific that I showed her photos of how my hair looked to give her an idea, and I repeated multiple times how I wanted it done. When my hair was finished, I noticed that she dyed it all orange and my roots were still the same (brown). The result was awful, so I had to go back to fix the mess Alma made. However, she couldn’t fix it, dyed it just as poorly, and on top of that, she burned my hair. Even the other hairstylist tried to help her with the tone, and they didn’t know how to fix it either. NOW MY HAIR IS DAMAGED AND POORLY DYED. I wanted it to look nice for Thanksgiving and the holiday season, and honestly, it would have been better if I hadn’t gone. Also, on the first day, Alma saw my hair and told me the service would cost $90. But when I went to pay for the color I didn’t ask for, she charged me $112, using the excuse that my hair is long. She already knew my hair was long, so it seemed strange to me. And when I asked her to fix my hair, she wanted to charge me again, even though it was her mistake. I’m attaching photos so you can see what I asked for, how healthy my hair was before, and the after pictures showing how damaged and poorly dyed it turned out. The first two photos show how I asked Alma to dye my hair (I showed her my photos). The third photo is how she dyed it orange. The fourth, fifth, and sixth photos show the result after it was dyed again and how my hair was burned.

I sadly just wasn’t very happy with my haircut at all… 🥲 I scheduled a consultation with Ali. After - She quoted me it would be “under $200“ for what we needed to do to my hair to get the goal. Showed her a photo of exactly what I wanted, it’s my usual bob haircut. I’ve had it most my life. I showed her a photo and I explained very clearly what I wanted. It’s going to take time to grow out before I can fix it unfortunately. I was under the impression we were just getting my hair all to one color and maybe lighter on the ends since the goal has ombre colors. This was supposed to be my first appointment to just get my hair ready and then the next appointment was going to be adding this blonde color that I wanted in the photo. Instead there is blonde streaks all over my head ?? 🥲 The blonde all over was never mentioned ? I didn’t know that’s what she was doing . 😭 This appointment took 6 hours.. I spent about $300 on this visit. I was previously quoted “under $200”. I sadly won’t be returning. I was over charged , didn’t get a single thing I asked for. And wasn’t offered an appropriate refund. I got my tip back only. The worst salon experience ever.

I have been putting off writing this review for a week because I hate to leave bad reviews, but the haircut I got here was pretty atrocious. I was going from shoulder length to a pixie cut. I have had dozens of pixie cuts in my life so I know what I'm looking for. The stylist left one side so short with almost no sideburns (you need those in a female short haircut to make it look feminine), and the other side super long like a mop with no layering. The short side is just straight not shaped around my ear or anything. Both sides sit unlayered and look like a bowl haircut. It's just bizarre looking. I kept thinking, ok it's asymmetrical but maybe it will work better once it's dried. Stylist also seemed cold and standoffish. She sent me home with my hair still wet (big no-no since I can't really see what it looks like). When I entered the salon, my stylist was fixing a previous customer's hair who I guess she had cut unevenly too, and she seemed a bit frustrated by that. I should have listened to my gut and left immediately. Live and learn. I am going to a different salon today to get it corrected. Hoping it is salvageable!

I signed up for their Ambassador Program and booked my appointment with Jacole over the phone. You could also book appointment online thru their website but I did booked over the phone since I'm doing the "Ambassador Program". I went in for my appointment for a basic haircut and intensive conditioning with hair stylist Willow but unfortunately, they told me I was never booked. The stylist I was booked with told me I could wait about an hour and see if she can accomodate me by then but is still not a guaranteed service since she's fully booked for the day ending up basically wasting about an hour of my time and a gallon of fuel driving over there. So I ended up walking away and driving back home.

PROS: Location is easy access Lots of parking space Affordable price (about the same as other franchised salon) CONS: Booking failure Customer service

UPDATE: One of the owners personally reached out to me which I appreciated, and left a voicemail explaining about the booking mishap.

Although what I don’t like that happened that day was, if in fact by any chance I wasn’t booked in the system properly for that day even if Jacole confirmed it to me over the phone a day before that, Willow should have offered me a different solution instead of waiting for her to finish her break and see if she can accommodate me after an hour but still not a guaranteed service or come back and re-schedule later in the evening or another day. When I looked that day (Oct. 15) on the booking site, another stylist Johanna was available and could have been asked if she’s in fact available and if it’ll be fine with me to be with a different stylist so I don’t have to waste my time and drive back and forth for a 15-30 minute hair service only. Although again I do know Willow was on her break when she spoke to me and I know break time is running and nobody else was there in the front desk but the other stylist servicing the other client so could be a factor why I wasn’t entirely been accommodated. Or maybe because it’s the discounted program and as what she was saying she was fully booked for the day that’s why my schedule was kicked out of the system. I‘ve also read that they do offer services for walk-ins but obviously that didn’t happen to me so I will recommend to book your appointment and always double check it with them because you might have a slim chance with “walk-ins” and ending up like me. Also just a side note, I did experienced having my salon appointment messed up like this in the past from a different salon and my stylist was also on her break that time but she actually decided to offered her...

I have to stay in Dallas for an extended period of time hence I started to look for a salon that I can go to for touch ups and refresh my hair color. I have contacted a couple of salons in Dallas, and the stylists were not very friendly and I did not feel comfortable to use their services. That changes when I encountered Ali Rennie at Lemon Tree Salon at Dallas Central Forest. I walked in to the salon and have an initial consultation. Ali was very friendly, very patient and listened to what I wanted to do with my hair. She discussed what she could do and even quoted me an estimated price and time needed for the service (color correction, root touch up, cut, and dry). On the day of appointment, Ali and I had further discussions of what I want to achieve and went through some photo samples that I brought. Ali was very knowledgeable about hair coloring. What I really liked was that she explained to me every step of the color correcting procedure and what to expect from each step of the process. Ali was really mindful of maintaining the health of my hair while trying to achieve the result I wanted to get (from medium brown to light blonde); and amazingly, Ali was able to achieve what she planned on for each step of the process, that made me feel confident of the outcome at the end. Color processing takes time, and Ali was very attentive to the details, thoughtful on how to make the color look good on me, and quick with her hands (there were LOTS of foils!). She made this experience an enjoyable one. The staff in the salon are very friendly too. It was a very comfortable and favorable environment to be in. I love how my hair looks at the end, and more, Ali was very thoughtful on how my hair would grow out and she made sure that my grey hair would blend in well in between service. I love how Ali put into consideration on my in between time! All in all, it was a great experience! I love the outcome of how my hair looks. It still looks shiny and the color remains the same after washes (I wash my hair quite frequently due to work). My hair still feels and looks healthy (color treated standard), and it is very easy to maintain after the cut. I would recommend stylist Ali and Lemon Tree Salon at Dallas Central Forest to everyone....

I had ruined my hair by letting my husband bleach it. it was very spotty horrible and I’m going to see my family who I haven’t seen in a year I called Lemon Tree “they are about 2mn away from my home” if they can fix my hair and how much it was going to be I have VERY long hair and curly at that they asked if I can come in for a consultation “witch I highly recommend it” I saw the manager extremely nice/friendly and professional she looks at my hair and thanked heavens it was not damaged I still had curls lol, so she scheduled me for the next day “witch I highly recommend to schedule your appointment so they can take there time with you”, next day they called for my appointment “I was an hour late personal reasons don’t judge” anyways Johanna was my hair stylist. She was extremely nice/friendly and professional, she didn’t know what she was getting in to “because I’m a completely mess” but knew what she was doing. I felt special because it was her first time doing very long hair but she took the challenge and when I say- she TOOK HER TIME I mean she took her time and didn’t rush at all, I went in at 10am and left at 2pm and I loved it when people take their time to make other people feel better about them self and the prince to everything that they did correcting the mess I’ve done bleach, toner, treatment, was under AFFORDABLE I TELL YA!!! If I didn’t effed up my hair it probably would have been way less. other people would have charged 10times as much “overexaggerating” because of my long ruined spotted hair. But overall I love this place you can say “I’m a fan” lol 😂 If you have not been here you wouldn’t get it.anyways highly recommend this place to get anything done. Definitely taking my...
