I wanted to leave a review after officially becoming a resident however I have toured this property several times from April until June in addition to speaking with multiple permanent and temporary leasing consultants in person and via phone.
PROPERTY The property itself is very modern and thoughtfully designed. The Sevens has several layouts with affordable options to suit the needs of most incomes from single occupants to medium family sizes. The amenities give resort vibes and residents have the option to entertain their guests by booking one of the two (west & east) club houses. The court yards and front property elevation have beautiful landscaping that overlook resident patios on the ground floor. The fitness center and picnic areas are very cozy and the coffee bar adds a personalized touch conveniently next to the private workspaces. Outside of the amenities there are several bike and walking trails in this neighborhood with numerous dining options. The only disadvantage to the property is the apartment itself can be difficult to locate (almost like you are in a maze) if occupying an interior facing unit towards the pool or court yards. Itâs much easier to navigate from the parking garage than the ground floor. Overall, I rate the property a 10/10.
STAFF My initial tour was manually scheduled by the assistant manager Ethan after I randomly stopped by on the evening of April 21st. Ethan was very welcoming and upon the first interaction I felt embraced and seen. He informed me of current specials and he encouraged me to apply as soon as possible to take advantage of the new resident special (6 weeks off if moved in before April 30th and 4 weeks off by May 31st). Ethan did inquire about my income but not in an imposing way. His line of questioning was more so to determine if I would qualify for any of their essential housing options, and which layout would best suit my financial needs. He also spoke highly of the other staff members, specifically Ana who toured me the next day on April 22nd at 2 PM.
Ana was very informative and soft spoken. She showed me two layouts and the property amenities. Concluding the tour she gave me a community map with current availability and prices of my desired layout. I inquired about a specific unit that showed availability for immediate move in online, however, I was highly disappointed to learn no applicants would be accepted for move in until the end of June. My inquiry about the specific unit went unaddressed and the special Ethan advised me of less than 24 hours prior was no longer available. That caused me to question if I wanted to move forward with the application because my lease was scheduled to end at the beginning of May. At the time I questioned the integrity of advertising move in specials without attempting to honor any of them, however I do understand rates and specials are subject to change.
A week later I applied online and returned several more times in attempt to find the best layout for my needs. Throughout this time different new resident specials continued to be displayed on the website for May and June. I did not receive any follow up emails or phone calls regarding the advertised specials, and I also did not ask based on the information I was told at my initial tour with Ana.
My final tour I met with Ethan again and he was just as welcoming as our first encounter. He informed me Ana was completing a tour, and he advised me of the current specials for the month of June. He inquired about my finances and recommended a unit that was within my budget, and he walked me over to the unit right away. Ethan is very attentive, articulate and he seems to be a team player. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and tailored the tour to fit the needs of my family and I, which made me feel valued as a potential resident.
My most recent visit to the property was July 8th. I spoke with Jay in person, and he was able to give me a detailed update, and he was very courteous. I am excited about the possibility of making The Sevens...
Read moreWhen I first went to the leasing office after making an appointment yesterday, I was excited to have gotten a great experience with the information and tour I got from Ana and was hoping that this apartment will my home for some years to come. Before I made my final decision however, I wanted to tour the apartments one more time and was ready to take some measurements as well to see if my furnitures would fit in the spaces available at either Studio or 1 bedroom apartment.
However this time I met a person by the name Ethan, I apologize if I got the name wrong but he is the only male in the leasing office when I visited. His interactions were not only unprofessional and cold, he appears to be not willing to go over the list of apartments they have but rather he was repeatedly asking me âwhat do you want to seeâ as if I am expected to have a through knowledge of the apartment they have and the terms under which they are leased. This was happening despite the fact that I had earlier told him that his colleague had shown me Studio and 1 bedroom apartments yesterday and I am there to select an apartment with the right location and size and he keeps asking me which specific apartment I want to see as I am expected to point out all the options in his system instead of him showing me and explaining the differences, the terms and availability time as well as prices. At one point I even told him I could come back some other time when his other colleague is available and his answer was cold and uninterested just telling me that he was capable of showing the apartments. At that point I thought to myself if this is how he is treating me now before I sign a lease, what will happen after I leased the apartment. This became a huge red flag and I decided not to proceed with my lease application from Sevens despite the fact that I liked the place and was working towards submitting my application. Very sad and...
Read moreI visited The Sevens on Tuesday, March 18th, at 12:45 PM after scheduling a tour based on a unit that was listed online as available. Brittany had sent a detailed and helpful email outlining information about the unit and the property, which I really appreciated. I was looking forward to meeting her the next day for the tour.
On the day of the tour, we were running a bit late, so I called ahead and spoke with a woman (not Brittany) to ask what I needed to bring in order to look and lease. She provided the details, and I let her know weâd be arriving shortly.
Upon arrival, we were met by a man at the front desk whose attitude was unwelcoming and unnecessarily snippy. He informed us that the unit we wanted was no longer availableâdespite the fact that I had checked online just an hour before and had spoken with someone on the phone who made no mention of it being taken. If someone else was actively touring or securing the unit, why wasnât that communicated when I called? I had driven across town for this tour, only to be met with attitude and no apartment to view.
To make matters worse, the front desk guy acted as if we were an inconvenience rather than potential future residents. Instead of offering alternative options, he simply asked, "Whatâs your budget?" in a blunt and dismissive tone, which made me feel unwelcome. At that point, I just said, "Never mind."
Iâm giving The Sevens two starsâone for the fact that itâs a new and seemingly well-kept property, and another for Brittany, who was genuinely helpful. However, the other three stars are missing entirely due to the unprofessional attitude of the front desk staff. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one left a lot...
