Yesterday Candace and I had to go to Dallas to do some car shopping, and on the way home we decided to have Mediterranean food for dinner. Luna Grill was close to us, and not expensive, so we opted to try it. Now, we have eaten at so many Mediterranean restaurants in the metroplex that I couldn't even list them all: holes in the wall, cafe style, buffets, fancy upscale places. Luna Grill is hands down the BEST tasting Mediterranean food I've ever eaten in a restaurant. It isn't a hole in the wall (sometimes those are amazing), and it isn't upscale fancy. It also isn't expensive. I got bistro beef kabab with Greek salad and spicy hummus (that was one plate), my wife ordered the loaded fries with chicken and feta cheese, and we shared. But here's the thing: every single bite was an explosion of flavor. I took a bite of the chicken and slightly gasped and told Candace how amazing it was. Then the same thing happened with the hummus...then the salad...then the fries. OK, so now I had tasted everything; time to just eat. But, oh my goodness! It happened all over again with each and every bite! I swear, eating at Luna Grill is like taking your taste buds to a culinary Disneyworld! As if that weren't enough, when I got home I looked up information on them. They are a small chain out of California with (so far) eight locations in Texas. Luna Grill is was created by a husband/wife team, Sean and Marie Pourteymour, and they seem very committed to excellence in their food. The food is non-GMO, always fresh, responsibly raised meat, and no unnecessary additives. AND YOU CAN TASTE THAT COMMITMENT WITH EVERY BITE. I didn't get a photo of the plate, unfortunately, but I DID get a shot of the moon (Luna) rising above the restaurant on our way out. OH! And when I went to their website after getting home, I discovered they SHARE THEIR RECIPES so you can make them at home. How cool is that? Give it a try. You'll thank me!

I was looking for meal prep options and I found this spot! Overall food is really good, and the amount of food for the meal prep deal was excellent ($47) It even included bowls & lids so u can portion it how u want too 🤗 I've been twice- 1st for the meal prep (which I will def be ordering again soon) and again for lunch Rice is cooked perfectly , chicken still taste good after a couple days and shrimp are meaty nice size (tail on) Their chipotle sauce is THE BEST! And the spicy hummus is also great Curious to try the salmon soon and also the loaded fries 😋🤤 If u get the meal prep with salad make sure u ask to have the salad in a separate bag or they may put it in the same bag as the rice and meat- which will be piping hot and might wilt the salad, as it is cold. Get the MODERN GREEK SALAD FOR SURE Luna grill is 🔥🔥🔥 Staff at this location is friendly the cashier helped me download the app my 1st visit ☺️🤭 Very clean

I just recently discovered this place. I work near by and it’s very conveniently located. I’ve been in twice in one week. I had the Luna vida bowl with the minced beef. I went during lunch time around 1p. There was a bit of a wait ~15min or so. I went again for the second time and I got the sampler with the grape leaves, falafel and the hummus. The staff have always been so friendly and pleasant. Kenny served me both times. He’s so friendly and kind. He will def brighten your day. I think I met either the manager or the owner today she was very attentive and checked on us. I think I found a new favorite, I’ll def be back!

Hard pass. I went here three days out of the week for about a month, hoping I found a regular spot to grab some decent Mediterranean food. The food itself is decent, but the combination of the inconsistent service and the cleanliness of the environment makes this place not worth it. The place has flies and I can only imagine how much they get on the food during prep.

The nail in the coffin was when I ordered a “plate” with extra protein, something I had been doing for a couple weeks at this location, but the cashier (the shorter fellow with tattoos on his wrist and currently has a bowl cut) charged me around $47 for an order that usually cost around $33. The biggest red flag is he was very quick to give me my table number and my drink, but hesitated giving me my receipt. On the receipt he charged me for extra chicken for $6.99, and right underneath a sub charge for chicken again at $8.99. I pointed this out and he had the strangest smile on his face. I just told them make extra chicken to not have a manager refund anything and keep it simple. Either way, the food is not bad at all, but the service is very inconsistent.

I was always polite to every cashier and said thank you, yes sir and no sir, always tipped, and bought the more expensive meals they sell with extra charges for more protein. Now they lost an easy sale...

Food is delicious but service is awful. Online ordering rarely works. I have a theory that any type of promo or coupon kicks it back and the system will cancel your order about 15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. You will get an email but that's not much help if you're stuck in a meeting or otherwise unavailable to receive the email or do anything about it. When I've called to try to order over the phone when the app won't work, a condescending MOD tells me there's an app for that. When I tell them of the problems and that it's not working, they say it's working fine and they don't have anything to do with their online system anyway. Corporate needs to figure this out. Don't have an app or online ordering capabilities if you aren't going to ensure they work. I have tried speaking with store management to no avail. Today a kind MOD did give us a discount for our trouble and we appreciated that. But please, just fix this! A friend in another state has experienced the same on multiple occasions as well, so it's clearly an...
