Location (10/10) I chose this hotel as it’s not far from the airport and skyview buildings, and because they provide shuttle service too. I realized afterward that the shuttle service is FREE. So, I do recommend La Quinta if you have F2F interview with American Airlines. It’s all convenient, fast, and most importantly offers free-of-charge transportation. My little tip is you can call the hotel to pick you up once you are at the “Courtesy Van” area outside the airport in order to locate specific terminal and gate number for their shuttle service. The wait time ranges from 10-20 mins.
Service (10/10) I met Antonio, Otter, De la Torre, Val, and one more driver with awesome dreadlock hair who grabbed bananas for us before driving us to airport at 5 am in the morning. They are super nice.
I could see it’s been busy during 2 days of my stay (the second day was resulted from flight delay due to storm) but front-desk staff - Otter - is patience and multitasking. It’s been busy for her but she remains polite and calm. She wishes people for a pleasant stay at the end of check-in service. For check-out, I chatted a bit with De la Torre. He’s fun. He blessed me with the job interview :)
The drivers, Antonio, Val, and the dreadlock hair guy, I met are very helpful and friendly. They have nice smiles.
Breakfast (6/10) The fun part is the waffle station where you can measure the batter and cook your own waffle. Carb varieties: bagel, toast, muffin, etc. Drink choices include coffee, cranberry juice, orange juice, milk with cereal, hot drink sachets (chocolate, oatmeal, teas) There are fresh fruits too, apple and banana. The sad part is the protein source which offers only boiled eggs.
Room (7/10) I stayed 2 nights in 2 room types: double bed and single bed. They are both clean and smell clean. Although the wooden closet gives out the feeling that Annabel may live in there, everything in the room just fits with your stay. The bed is quite firm, supporting back just well. Pillows are soft ; it’s like they suck your soul not long after hitting it. For bathroom, there are soap, shampoo, and a good number of towels. I think adding toothbrush and toothpaste...

My girlfriend had a layover of 20 hours in Dallas on here way home. Se we decided to organise this hotel for her to rest. She landed just after midnight and head to the hotel. I had organise for her late arrival so no drama there.
Once she got to the reception around 1:30am. She was welcomed with the worst attitude by the female receptionist (old lady around 60 years old dark skin) unfortunately we don’t have her name.
The receptionist didn’t want to process the check in because my girlfriends credit card shows her last name and only the initial of her first name (which is the case of all the credit cards where we live). Only because of this, she proceeded the yell at my girlfriend and asked her if she even had money to pay? That she wasn’t gonna try and process the check in because she had never seen a credit card that didn’t show the first name first. I even tried to talk to her on the phone and she said she wasn’t gonna talk to anyone. After 40 minutes of trying we had no option that to cancel the booking. Leaving my girlfriend by herself and her luggage strained at 2:30am in the streets of Dallas.
We quickly called and booked on the hotel nearest to the airport that Hellen’s to be the same hotel (different location) the guy at the reception process the check in with the same credit card we tried and it worked within 2 seconds.
Luckily, nothing dangerous happened to my girlfriend, but the fact that she had to go out and walk by herself at that time with luggage in an unknown city is unnecessary risky. Only because the incompetency of this lady and her lack of understanding of the whole situation, this could’ve been way worse and completely unnecessary.
I do not recommend anyone putting themselves or their loved ones in this situations, so I hope this makes you look somewhere else when looking for...

Do NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT stay here unless you’re ok with your vehicle being broken into. I literally just left from a weekend stay this was gifted to me. Upon checking out, I get to my truck and my back window was broken into, along with MANY other vehicles.
The crazy thing is, the day I checked in (this past FRIDAY) I noticed where I parked that there was glass all on the ground. I had an eerie feeling and looked over about 2 cars down and saw an old beat up van with a trash bag on the window. I should’ve followed my gut then but I just sent up a quick prayer and went on.
I went and grabbed a bite to eat later in the evening on Friday and Saturday and nothing. Come out to go leave and check out and plenty of cars/trucks back windows were broken out.
I filled a police report and went to the front desk and all the lady gave was a card for someone else who is only available M-F and said we have has multiple compliments for a while about cars being broken into.
Ummmm what?!! Why not disclose this before or upon checkin?! It’s all about money for these businesses.
DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING OF IMPORTANCE IN YOUR VEHICLE.
I was supposed to go to the outdoor gun range that Saturday so the only thing they stole was my shotgun.
Besides this, I still would not recommend this place. The pictures are VERY deceiving. The insides are old, water damaged, carpet floors look like they haven’t been cleaned in ages, the towels were dinghy (thank God I always bring my own), the tub was rusty, (only took a shower one night, so I placed a bath towel in the tub), everything was old and cracked.
I don’t blame my friend for doing such a kind gesture because even I looked at the photos and thought this was a nice place and area but it is truly “ghetto” looking...
