If you need some alterations done, RUN, don’t walk, to Irene Rocha!! The ladies who work there really know what they are doing. I had lost weight in some parts of my body and gained weight in others, and I thought my wedding dress was beyond all hope. Even though my wedding was only about 6 weeks away, Irene and Doris were able to work their magic. My grandmother, who has had decades of tailoring experience, was very impressed with the amount of knowledge the seamstresses had. The price for the amount of work they needed to do was incredibly reasonable, and the dress was ready by the date we had initially agreed to. And beyond all of this, Doris and Irene were so nice and personable. I received so many compliments on my dress, and I know it wouldn’t have looked as half as good without Doris and Irene’s expertise. Overall my experience with Irene was very good. Unfortunately when I picked up my dress I didn't try it on (try on your wedding dress before leaving the store!) I wish someone at the store would have told me to do so. My wedding was two days later and my dress had a rip in the side right on my hip, which I did not see until I was getting dressed for my wedding. We had to scramble to fix it. Also, at my last fitting I mentioned that the cups seemed too big. Irene assured me they were not. Not switching out the cups for a smaller size was a huge mistake and my dress ended up being too big in the bust (maybe she just did not want the extra work.) So many of our pictures I cannot use because it's obvious my dress didn't fit right, which is very upsetting. My fiancée got a wedding dress from there and she asked for the dress to be a tailored so that the dress would be right above her feet & not be touching the floor since the dress was one that was long like a typical wedding dress that drags on the floor. Doris helped my fiancée with the measurements and said the dress would be done how she asked for $60. We come back to pick up the dress, the dress was still long and not what we asked for. Therefore, they had to tailor it again. Then when we picked the dress up after the second time, the owner said we had to pay $60 again even though the reason for the second tailoring was their fault.
