I have been planning a major renovation of a bathroom for quite some time. This involved complete demo of the 1975 bathroom, including a cast iron tub, then replacing everything and adding a curbless shower. I knew what the layout would look like but now needed to find all the plumbing fixtures, which there are an endless number of choices. One of the many suppliers that I identified was Kohler. Looking at Kohler or any other manufacturer on the internet was helpful, but there are so many things look at and figure out that I was stuck. I happen to be in the area of a Plimpton & Hills showroom in Danbury, CT, that has an extensive selection of Kohler product. I stopped just to look around, and it was my great fortune to talk with Wendy C. She took a lot of time to listen to my project requirements and was very helpful to start narrowing down the choices. I made several more stops to the Plimpton & Hills showroom to get Wendy’s help. Each time she was incredibly patient and helpful. Other than her wonderful personality, she was tremendously knowledgeable of the entire Kohler line of products. Based on my preliminary selections, she was able to find products that I didn’t even know the Kohler offered. Two the most memorable finds Wendy had for me was fixture finish, which was brushed bronze, and a great shower and tub supply valve that has the temperate control and diverter/flow control all in one unit.
