I’m not one to leave reviews, but I’ve been going to this restaurant since 2016 and I’ve seen changes in management. For a period of time, it was great. And then it all went downhill again. Last week I ordered a chicken parm which comes with rice and the rice came RAW. It’s a Brazilian restaurant and the one thing that they should get right is the rice. On that day I didn’t make a big deal about it and didn’t request for a refund on Ubereats because that’s not the type of person I am, but then a couple days later I wanted to order the same dish and thought I’d call to let them know what had happened and also as a feedback. The girl said the manager wasn’t around and she was very nice and offered to send me a new dish if I ordered a dessert or something on the cheap side on the app. I said that wouldn’t work and that I’d try to solve it through Ubereats. On the app it was more of a hassle and I didn’t want to leave a bad review for the restaurant. Skip to today when my family and I wanted to order from them again and I decided to call to see if they’d would honor what they had said initially. The manager, Fernanda, was very condescending and said she could not give me a new dish, only a dessert. I don’t want to order dessert. And on top of that she talked to me as if I was lying saying that none of her employees told her about the complaint and they always do. She completely ignored me and went on to ask me “so what are you ordering today?” as if I was wasting her time. I just told her that I wouldn’t be ordering anything from them anymore and hung up. This review is not about the rice or the “free” dish that I did not get, mind you, I wouldn’t waste my time here to complain because of the $13. It is about the terrible customer service and unpreparedness of this manager. I know a lot of people who won’t go there anymore for the bad service and now I’m...
Read moreI’ve been a regular customer here for a while, but unfortunately, the quality of both the food and service has drastically declined. The rice is always undercooked, and it’s become nearly impossible to enjoy a meal without constantly chewing on what feels like raw rice, which is uncomfortable and hard on the teeth.
The utensils provided for take-out are so cheap that they can't even hold up a piece of steak without bending. It’s a frustrating experience. Additionally, the bathrooms have no running hot water—during the winter months, you're expected to wash your hands with ice-cold water, which is just unacceptable. To make matters worse, the hand soap dispenser isn’t even working, leaving hygiene a major concern.
While using the bathroom, I observed kitchen staff exiting without washing their hands, which is extremely concerning from a food safety perspective.
The prices have also gone up significantly, yet the quality of food and service has only worsened. Paying $4.25 for a 600ml soda bottle is outrageous; that price should be for a 2L, at best.
It’s also telling that even the staff is leaving the establishment, which speaks volumes about the work environment and overall management. When employees choose to leave, it’s a clear sign that something isn’t right behind the scenes.
It seems like the new owners, who are three Ecuadorian brothers, are focused on maximizing profits at the expense of the customer experience. They really need to rethink their business model and prioritize quality over quick gains.
Overall, I won’t be returning unless there are serious improvements across the board. The quality of food and service no longer justifies the price, and it’s disappointing to see such a once-loved place...
Read moreI went there tonight at around 7pm. Was seated quickly. The waitress asked if my friend and I have ever been there and we said no. She then Started to explain how the menu works and how they have an a la carte station etc. we ordered our drinks. I ordered a Capreihnea(spelling is off) and my friend ordered a margarita. It took ten minutes to bring out our drinks.
We ordered our food, an appetizer and two entrees. Those came out in 15 minutes all together. I thought it was a little weird but didn’t really mind. After eating these enormous portions of food for 15-20 minutes we just sat and waited for our waitress to come over so we can pack up the rest of our food and get the bill and leave. We waited for over 30 minutes for our waitress to come over.
Our waitress sat three different groups of patrons and helped a couple of people at the bar and not once asked how the food was or asked if we needed the bill. Another 15 minutes pass and I cannot find our waitress. I’m irritated and my friend is very angry at this point. She finally shows up and is helping serve food to someone and ringing them out. I walk over to her and ask if I can get a box and the check, she responds “yes”.
She comes over with the bill and a container for our food. Luckily my friend didn’t want their food since she only gave us ONE container for the both of us to share. The waitress leaves and I look at the bill to make sure everything was right and she comes up not even 10 seconds later expecting payment. I felt EXTREMELY rushed during this and just gave her money. My friend ended up walking out without us waiting for our change. This is my first and last time coming here to this restaurant. The food was good but the service was...
