I'm sure that in the spirit of enriching the Schnucks family, customer service has become less of a focus in the company's stores.
When requiring your customers to wait in slow lines because you don't want them clogging up self check out, but then when self check out is completely empty you only staff 2 live employees at the register, you create a bit of an obnoxious wait, particularly the self check-out overlord tells you to get in line.
Then when 1 of the 2 open registers is about to finish with the customer ahead of you, your employees aggresively tell your customers to wait until they're told to proceed to a particular aisle - then when they begin ringing you out they are throwing your canned goods to the bagger.
There are 2 Scnucks within 1.5 miles of my home, and I intend to shop anywhere else due to this most recent trip.
Does Schnucks care about losing me as a customer? I doubt it, I am but 1 person buying $86 dollars worth of items on this one particular trip, but I'd imagine if you continue throwing customers groceries for a long enough time, others...
   Read moreThe checkout woman asked if I was pregnant, which I am not. Why do people feel the need to ask people they don't know if they are pregnant? The answer whether it be yes or no changes nothing! When I responded " no I'm not pregnant. I just look like this after having twins at 40 plus two other children." She responded Really? " Yes ma'am, really." She then goes on to ask if there was any way that I could correct it!!! I replied "only with surgery which insurance will most likely not cover and it would be complete abdominal reconstruction. I have a very severe case of diastasis recti." ( A severe case of muscle separation) But, really people quit asking people you don't know if they are pregnant. Honestly, I don't think it's your business if you don't know me and it changes nothing whether or not I am. It also validates to me and others that we still look pregnant...

SHE PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY ABUSED ME WITH HER ACTIONS AND WORDS. I truly hope the woman store manager took action like she said she would. If not she is just as bad as Julie!!!! This type of aggression and approach to a customer is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. I hope the owner of the store has found out about the abuse that happened in the store today if he didn't then just know that your managers are not doing their jobs. Because this cashier does not deserve nor does she belong at this job!!!! Throwing my receipts and throwing my items yelling disagreeing not understanding no cooperation rushing disrespectful disregarding ungrateful unappreciated....
