Argued with the person at the front desk about how many tickets I had for about five minutes, explaining that I used Fandango a multitude of times and the seat numbers to be told over and over I didnāt have that many. They pull up the seating chart and what a coincidence that many are reserved together⦠Well after giving my card, and confirmation numbers, seat numbers, and explaining one was an exchange in Fandango multiple times to repeated ānoāsā without even listening to what I was saying⦠turns out I did actually buy that many āit was the computerā and got no apology. No big deal, stuff happens. Bought a large icee, which entailed of a small cone of ice in the middle of the cup and straight syrup surrounding it in a moat. Whatever I need to watch what I eat, too much sugar and all that anyway. The straw that broke the camels back so to speak was the movie experience itself, which was so dark you could barely make out what was happening through its entirety. Thought maybe it was just the movie then got home and looked it up, nope not the movie. Talked to a friend who went with us and used to manage a theater, he said it was clear the bulb needed to be changed for some time. Bummer. You go to a theater for the best viewing experience, not the worst. Iāll probably not see a movie in theaters again for several years after...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis theater is close to home so I have been quite a few times. It was great before Marcus took over. The food is worse now and the place is just getting run down. It is not uncommon to sit in a chair and find out itās broken. Iāve had several experiences where the movie started late or didnāt work and we had to get moved to another time. Iāve experienced problems with the audio quality. And this last time, I booked and thought they had upgraded their seats... because I had to choose seats on a screen when getting my tickets. But no, same old junky seats but now you canāt just sit wherever you want, you have to select a seat when booking and then sit there. To top it off... the screen was fuzzy when I went to see Spider-Man FFH for the first time. Like really bad. It was like watching Netflix when you have a bad internet connection and it switching to streaming in the lowest quality. I spoke to someone and they said theyād take care of it but it never got better.
This is the kind of stuff you would expect and put up with at the dollar theater in town. But when youāre paying normal ticket...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to a show last Tuesday with my grandchildren and while the seats, concession quality and everything else was great yet I had some problems with some of the employees. Mainly one young man that had several tattoos showing on his arm that were quite distasteful. I had originally thought that this was a family place where all ages could enjoy a movie. But with this employees display of satanic imagery colored into there arm it left a poor taste in my mouth. Something must have been wrong with him as he looked very off before we even made it to the counter. He served us normally (Although talking monotone might i add) but i didnt like having to shield my childrens eyes from his markings on his arm. Is it not mandatory though to cover up these obscene occult symbols in a family workplace? I would have expected better from a place that prides itself on family. I cant give it a 1 star due to everything else being lovely but this employee saddened the experience for both me and my...
