This was my go to nail salon for over 10 years. After weeks of debating, I'm writing a review. I don't care to utilize reviews for negativity, but I think others should know. Sanitation with this salon is a serious concern. Over a (seriously long) time I questioned the cleanliness here. I loyally returned for years. After leaving my nails "off" during COVID, I returned and had a new set put back on. They'd had some remodel updates, but cleanliness was no better. In fact, I questioned the nails of my tech. He had what I questioned as a nail infection. No gloves. 3 weeks later.. I had a "fill" and mentioned several nails feel loose. 3 weeks after that I returned for another fill. Again, mentioned loose feeling nails and noticing his nails. Shortly after my 3rd visit I noticed a spot on my nail. Kinda black. Within a week I was back in the salon. Called ahead My usual guy on vacation but got an afternoon appointment. Got there, sat down with Kevin. Showed him my nails and concerns. He removed a lot of old product. Told me I had a fungus. Then! Another client arrived and apparently specifically had an appointment with Kevin. Ok, moved over to Terrie's station. They discussed my nails in a language I did not understand and Terrie acknowledged fungus. Kevin moved on with his scheduled appointment using all of the nippers, files, brushes etc used on me with ZERO sanitation or change. I felt horrible I asked if I should have the acrylic removed and or contact a Dr. I was specifically told no. Then they used an electric file to drill through my nail bed trying to remove the fungus and telling me it will grow out. Decided to change salons. Now fungus on several fingers. Followed recommended advice to remove. Weeks later: I can not wear nails. My nails are a mess and my nail beds are damaged. I am still fighting a fungus that caused lifting and it's not a simple fix. I'm likely looking at months of treatment and healing for my fingernails. Proper hygiene by your nail tech is important. They should wear gloves. Proper sanitation in a setting such as a nail salon is imperative. Every salon should be sanitizing many items between clients. Based on my experience here, they do not.. As loyal as I was, I won't be back and wouldn't...
Read moreThis is the last time I will be coming to this establishment!! First off, my daughter and I waited over 30 minutes to get our pedicures. Then on top of that, a lady that came in after us, was serviced before us. Then, my nail tech rushed through the whole process, she didn't rub my feet or even asked why type of pedicure I wanted. So when I called her out on it, she said that she assumed I wanted the same thing my daughter wanted😕. She said she was sorry but still didn't bother to ask which one I wanted...so I said ok. Then she asked what color I wanted on my toenails, and I showed her the color on the palette..then she tells me that they didn't have it. Ok, so if you don't have the color on display, why on earth are you advertising it???? Then she try to sell me on a different color. Lady bye!!! Never...
Read moreI put off writing a review because I was extremely upset and no one writes a good review when they are upset. However it has been a couple days and my experience is still bothering me. I was rudely greeted at the door. When I set down in the pedicure chair there where employees playing on iPads and napping! My pedicure was pretty standard and I'm happy with it. However what upsets me is the manicure. I was never offered gel even after asking my nails where cut to the point of bleeding and are still red and scabby days later. The tech put this blue solution on the blood with explaining what it was. I was asked to pay before getting my nails done and honestly if I knew how bad the service was I wouldn't have left a decent tip...
