Happy China Restaurant — Restaurant in Dardenne Prairie

My family ordered $48 worth of food via Door Dash. First of all, we had 5 different containers with no labels to identify what was in the containers. Some of the orders, which went to non pork eaters, had fried rice (chicken with Chinese vegetables and Szechuan Beef). There is nothing in the menu description that states pork meat/pieces in the rice. So we had use the white rice with the 2 orders. I didn’t see any Szechuan chiles peppers in my Szechuan Beef, so I was a little concerned with the taste. I started eating my Szechuan Beef, which was not spicy. I continued to eat and found something in my food which looked like a shrimp shell, but after opening it, I found out it was plastic in my food. I completely lost my appetite. My family member called the restaurant to get a refund for this order, but was told he will have to go through Door Dash, which is ridiculous. What happened to customer service and food safety!!! If I could I would give Happy China zero stars. This must be the only Asia cuisine restaurant in this area. The food is not tasty. Our family will not purchase anything from this...

My husband and I have always been ordering takeout here for years. Hands down my favorite take-out American Chinese in St. Charles County. Whether it's Christmas, or just a craving, to me, it's #1. I've never got sick from them personally and food is always hot, crispy, and fresh, especially if you order Pick-Up.

The one thing I really didn't like from them was their Lo Mein. They use a lot of canned bamboo shoot which has a uric smell and taste. If you're not used to that, it can ruin the experience. I hope they can improve their recipe 🙏

My go-to personal favorites are the Combo Plates. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken and requested Extra Spicy. It didn't disappoint. It was very firey and satisfying. Also ordered the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce. I crave it a ton and it's so addictingly good with the right balance of plump juicy shrimp and crisp vegetables. Not pictured are the Crab Rangoon which I adore. Their cream cheese filling is very savory and not too much on the sweet side which goes well with everything. Please support this family run business. They are doing the best that they can...

They got my order wrong and when I tried to get my money back they refused. They offered a credit in a future purchase but between the bad service and food we will not be going there or recommending them. I asked them to credit my card or have them delivered as I was not going to drive back there. They said we can not deliver to you you are too far away. We are 2.6 miles from them and when I searched online through their website if they could deliver I was in the delivery range.

I am now working with my credit card company to get the money back. It was not a lot but when they refused to work with me and had me talk to 3 people 2 of which said they were the manager but then told me they had to talk to the boss and would not do anything but credit my account for a future purchase which I do not have an account with them and I will not be ordering from them again and they lied about being able to have it delivered when they can deliver to my house this is not a business I...
