It's very nice for children over 5 but very little if nothing for toddlers and preschool children. This will prevent a lot of families with smaller children from coming. It's also very "commercial". You cannot bring any food or drink and there's no picnic area like there is at most of the rest of the public parks. You have to buy food at concession stands and you have to pay to use the pickleball courts and the other activities that are inside the building and the climate controlled areas. And if you take your older children there to play on the outdoor things that are free of course they are going to want to do the things that also cost money. And you can't bring snacks for your little ones because they want you to spend money inside at the concession stands. This is going to prevent families that are struggling financially from taking their children there. It it's kind of sad that it's become commercial. Public parks should be free for the children and there shouldn't be all of these bait things there that will cause children Whose parents do not have money with them Disappointed. I really really wanted to love this place But as a grandmother of sex in various ages Ranging from Eight months to eight years, I cannot recommend this park Unless your children are over five And you have money to spend At the concessions and at the end or facilities. And I'm not sure why they put all the plants in the playground area because the children are just going to trample those. This park was really not planned well at all. Most families with more than one child have a toddler and an older child. Does park has nothing for the younger children other than a couple of baby swings and a circular chair. HUGE...
Read moreGreat new park in St. Charles! Lots of things to do here. Probably not suited for very young children, but the park offer a wide array of activities.
In addition to the traditional playground structures, there is a skateboard park, pump track, and indoor pickle ball court. The skateboard park and pump track do requires a small fee. The rest was free.
There is also an indoor concession area with seating as you aren't suppose to bring outside food. Water bottles seemed fine, and no one said anything about the Celsius I finished while watching the kids.
I do not believe this is pet-friendly and that is understandable given the type of park it is.
Restrooms are very clean and indoors. I love that they use warm water. There is also a water fountain in the traditional part of the park, which I thought was a nice touch.
Overall, a great time was had by all. It is my hope that the images give viewers a better view of the park...
Read moreI love the features, the park has a few different areas that people of different skill levels can utilize, and the pump track is an amazing addition that everybody should try out. but i wish there was some program to educate people on skatepark ettiquette, as occupancy is just flooding with people due to the introduction of free admission. Having to wait up to 10 minutes at the top of a ramp to drop in for a single line because the entire section is filled with kids dropping in at random, almost running into everybody and mulling about, just kills the flow and makes it very difficult to practice and learn. Its not for me, but its an absolute deal breaker for a lot of serious bmxers and skateboarders. Im not the kinda guy to say kids arent allowed in skateparks, there should just be more effort to teach kids how to properly travel through the park, and how to pay attention to...
