I always feel it's important to recognize when exceptional customer service is consistently provided, primarily because it is a quality so rarely found at establishments these days. David Harvey Jewelers is one of those scarce retail "gems" (see what I did there?). As a customer for over a decade, John Breznen always makes you feel like one of the family when you enter David Harvey. His knowledge of jewelry is vast, and he really puts careful thought into what would be just the perfect piece for the particular recipient, guiding you through your various options. Then there are the details around the little things..He just wants you to leave the store with all your needs met. For example, John was willing to help me find better backings for earrings NOT EVEN PURCHASED from him. He's happy to get you appraisals for insurance with every I dotted and every T crossed, John always responds immediately, emails all requested documents, and generally bends over backwards to fulfill any request and never drops the ball. I had the pleasure to meet Dana at David Harvey Jewelers and I couldn’t be more pleased and welcomed when I walked into the store. Dana is one of the kindest, most respectful and considerate customer service associates I’ve ever encountered. The service she provided far exceeded my expectations and she listened to every word I spoke. Her attention to detail to my late grandmother’s jewelry and recommendations she gave on how to fix the broken pieces were spot on. I never once felt like she was trying to sell me or push anything. She was lovely. Since David Harvey Jeweler has the ability to make custom pieces, I will be returning to have something created and I hope to work with Dana again. Quality all around!

I had a fantastic experience at David Harvey, Darien, this holiday season. I needed a relatively inexpensive piece as a special gift for my 31 yr old son. DH has the most exquisite jewelry in their beautiful shop; fine gems, jewels, watches, diamonds, custom items, all things anyone would love to be gifted for any holiday, special occasion or personal milestone. While I was shopping, I witnessed other guests purchasing some of these very fine and expensive items. My needs were so simple that DH doesn't usually stock nor probably sell many of my requested item.
