Verizon — Local services in Darien

We had an extremely poor experience with Tahir today. I went with my son to upgrade his phone. Tahir was great in asking if we needed help, but the rest of the interaction was downhill. He seemed more occupied with something else on his desk. I got very little explanation of the rules or details about an upgrade promotion, he just said the one I saw yesterday on the Verizon website ended the prior day. When I asked about the plan differences vs what we have (we have an older plan) he said the new ones were cheaper without even discussing what we have, what we use, etc. When I asked if we could understand that in more detail he said to just look at my phone and looked back down at whatever he was doing at his desk. In fact, a good amount of the time he was with us it was clear he was more interested in something else going on at his desk. He was not overtly disrespectful, however he clearly did not want to help us and made us feel very unwelcome. We left quickly and I advise anyone to find...

Don't waste your money here. They are only a retailer and can get away with any price.. Phones are 50.00 more than a corporate store. You will get no verizon discounts or promotions. They also charge a double restocking fee if you change your mind.. I purchased a Motorola turbo here. When all was finished it cost me 250.00 for just the phone ..no extras.. I visited the corporate store in Norwalk and saw the same phone for 149.99. So I redid the deal there . they gave me a 50.00 dollar credit because of my business account and as a promotion gave me a 100.00 in store credit.. So. For 135.00 I received the phone, a power pack, a rapid charger for the car, and a tablet with a cover case. The phone was 99.00 and the tablet was 35.00.. Everything else was free. Major mistake to buy anything from this store.. Be sure to only deal with a verizon corporate store.. This store also lost my contacts and photos which is why I looked for another store to help..and then realized how bad I was...

Do not go to Verizon in Darien. They will scam and take advantage of you. I just noticed all these random features added to my monthly bill that I never signed up for - $25/month home insurance for my kids Gizmos (mind you the device costs $100 and there is a $50 deductible) and cloud storage. I also upgraded my Phone with them and ended up with expensive screen protectors I didn’t ask for and a transfer fee that wasn’t disclosed. They are sneaky and not trustworthy- it makes me want to switch providers!!

I will add that these 5 star reviews are obviously friends of the company or paid for their reviews!! If you go on our local facebook moms group they all warn of this location and had similar horrific...
