So first I want to say this was our third time going. The first two times were very good so we made a day trip out of going as it’s over an hour to get here for us. We walked in a few Sundays ago- 2 hours plus prior to their closing time and we’re greeted with “We’re closing” not anything else and then literally turning their back and walking away. There was a a woman in line waiting for to go- there were still more than 5 tables with people mid eating. No explanation, no asking us if we’d like to go. No other options. From the music being played to the wooden chairs, tables and beautiful kitchen area. The atmosphere is a pleasantly beautiful place, a little piece of France in the middle of Darien, CT. The service was immediate. You are greeted with a pleasant smile and gracious hospitality. I looked forward to sitting at this cozy and beautiful setting. My daughter took us to Crepes Choupette today and we absolutely loved it! It was delightful from beginning to end. The restaurant was so clean, the ambience reminded me of a bistro in Paris. The coffee....OMG! Strong, deep roasted goodness. One of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. Then, the delicious crepes. The owner treated us to desert 🤗!
