Gofer Ice Cream Darien — Restaurant in Darien

We love Gofer icecream, but this is the only location that is the dirtiest that we have ever been to. The floors, walls, tables and chairs everytime we come it is filthy and sticky! Whoever owns this location must never show up to check on the workers or the store or maybe he just doesn't care? I don't know, but it is ashame because this store is in a very good area and I just expect more. It doesn't matter when we visit this location it is always a dirty mess! I can only imagine how dirty the back is if from the moment we walk in is filthy. I would have given it 1 star 🌟 but the icecream is delicious. I will take pictures next time. It's so...

The first time I visited, I happened to meet the owners. They were very nice, as were the other employees working. The ice cream was good.

The second time I visited, the store was disgusting. The floor and tables were very dirty. One girl working never put her phone down or got out of a chair the entire time. The other girl was in her phone much of the time or talking to a random girl who was in there borrowing a phone charger. Ice cream was still good but will try another...

At first I thought what does a gopher have to do with ice cream. Then I looked down on my melting soft serve run down my firm hands. The stickiness of my fingers played out in my mind. I then Slowly took a lick of my ice cream, the soft serve vanilla with fudge suddenly expoloded in my mouth.
