My husband and I just left Men's Wearhouse and will not ever be going back. We went there a few weeks ago, bought a suit and we were having it tailored. The young man that waited on us was not very knowledgeable and was not much help at all. Today, we go to pick up the suit. We walk in and they're (2 young men and a woman) were sitting in the back chatting. They were talking about other customer experiences, literally saying negative things about them. Professional? I think not. My husband went into the dressing room to try his suit on, and he told me there were needles and pins from restorations all over the floor. He found out the hard way as he stepped on one. (He told me this on the way home) Anyway, we were waiting to pay, they were putting the suit together and they called my husband over to tell him that the vest he bought was a charcoal not the same color as the suit. The kid said "someone made a mistake and gave you the wrong color vest." Mind you we paid to have the vest tailored. I said "well the young man who waited on us was useless so I'm not surprised." The woman, Caydence, who I later found out is the assistant manager, said "I respectfully disagree with you, he's a good employee!" I, in turn said "No, he was not, he obviously didn't even bother to get the right color vest." I told her she was rude and she came back with, "I don't like when people say negative things about my employees." And then her attitude was even worse than before. I did call corporate on the way home as I was so upset. She didn't even bother to refund me the money we spent tailoring the vest. I had to ask the corporate office that question. Needless to say, I, we, will never walk into a Men's Wearhouse again. Both times...awful service. And then to look at these reviews and see this 'Caydence's' name attached to the negative ones....well, it's not just me. Very...
Read moreVery upset, went and bought my grooms attire at the Dartmouth Ma location, also set up for all the grooms to come get their outfits there. Grooms outfit had everything from shirt, vest jacket, pants belt tie and shoes. Was told when we were paying that when the rest of the suit comes in we get free alterations, GREAT. Not. Was also told we could wait to get alterations done since we were going on a diet and wanted the right fit for the alterations. GREAT. Not, Went into the Plymouth Ma location since it was closer to do our alterations. Everything was going great UNTIL we went to the front to set up the date for pick up. For just alterations on the jacket and pants were 84$! When we were told it was free alterations since we bought it there. Manager came over and said no way that was ever said. Cool so we are lying. Said he knew the guy at Dartmouth personally and he would never say we were able to get alterations for free. But yet five different people helped us out in Dartmouth so not one person singly helped us. So after going back in forth I said why wouldnât you take something off since the pants are tearing at the seam anyways. The manager then said why wouldnât you come in a tel us about this issue before hand. The Dartmouth location told us to not even bother trying it on until we went in for alterations, so maybe it was our fault we didnât give it a good look. The Plymouth manager then told us we should of tried it on and I went on saying how could we try it on, the pants would rip at the seams if we even tried to bend down. He then told us to try it out but not bend down. Ok? After all this going back and forth you would think we would get offered at least a discount for the mix ups. But nope full price. I will never come back to menâs warehouse. I paid full price for...
Read moreWe had an appointment yesterday to pick out 6 suits for our upcoming wedding. Denise, the rental manager was the person helping us. She was absolutely terrible. She didnât ask any questions and would not allow me to ask questions. When I attempted to ask a question, she interrupted me and held her hand up telling me to listen to her speech. She was full of ânoâsâ and didnât offer any alternatives. She had a terrible attitude, rolled her eyes and presented herself as a very unhappy person who was being bothered by the customer. At one point she disappeared and started helping another customer leaving us standing there confused and wasting our time. The suit manager felt bad for us and began helping to get the guys measured. When finished with that he brought Denise back over who was going to put our order together so that the out of town groomsmen could get thereâs in their area. We again were standing around for several minutes. When I went to see where the process was, I found her sitting with 3 other employees talking about a car her husband has restored. She was disrespectful with our time. She came over to us after a few more moments and demanded payment. Her ugliness reared itâs head again at that point when I dared to ask what it was for. At that point I decided I was not going to give her our business and told her I would get back to her. She stood there and stared at me with a very disgusted look for at least 3 seconds before saying anything. The thing she didnât realize was she lost our business but one of the guys with us is also getting married a few months after us and was gaging whether or not he was going to use them for his 12 suits. Denise effectively lost the business of 17 suits for...
