What a horrible experience! My husband and I went into Silva and Company on December 19 showing an idea for a ring that we wanted one of the store managers Vic said oh we could make that ring really easy gave me a price and said it’ll be ready in two weeks. So two weeks went by and I didn’t hear anything but I figured it was a busy season and they would have my ring. So on the third week I called still nothing weeks went by I wouldn’t hear anything the managers would tell me that the owner who’s name is Ed wasn’t getting back to them or would call me and he never would. Finally my husband called after six weeks and he gave Us a cell phone number and said this is my cell call or text me and will keep in touch. Well, we would call that number or text that number he would never get back to me. I’d have to drive from Tiverton to Dartmouth multiple times and when I would catch him at the store he would give me some excuse about funerals or how he’s having a hard time in life and he’s really busy so finally after three months he promised my ring would BN and still never delivered refused to call me back refuse to text me he wouldn’t give his managers any information until I finally had to go in there and demand a refund. I typically go to the traditional commercial jewelry stores like Kay's and Zales, but decided to give Silva & Co Jewelers a shot after being recommended from my little brother who purchased a Rolex there a few weeks prior. All I can say is that the staff there were unbelievable. SUPER knowledgeable and they weren't pushy at all. They helped me choose a beautiful loose stone, setting, and weddings bands at a price and quality that would beat any commercial store.
