Had an experience with fruit fixer that started off really well. Went in with a sealed factory, new phone, which is the current top flagship of that brand and I was offered $500 cash that day. I come back 2 days later and now the SAME store associate has to confirm it with the owner who then wants to say that he's only going to offer $300 and will not honor what his employee offered. Not only that, he continues to make excuse after excuse. Oh, they didn't know it was this, or they didn't know this detail about it. No, that was not the BRAND NEW BOX IT COMES IN. They knew every single detail about the phone and with it being brand new. There's not much to know, it's all right there on the box in front of them. Pretty poor business and customer service when that's the entirety of what you do and offer as a service. Just all my own opinion though. But if one offer's made it should be honored, is my thought. If the store owner thinks that his employee screwed up and offered too much, he should still honor it , and then reprimand the employee that doesn't know how to do his job.
Update: So not only does the owner not honor his employees word and offers. He then turns around and tells his employee (of boost mobile) who is my girlfriend to have me remove this review. Which is nothing but facts, she tells him that she can't force me to do anything and to reach out to me himself and gave him my number. He hasn't gotten ahold of me yet but instead days before her scheduled 9 days of PTO (she's earned 2 weeks over the 2½ years working there) as well as the day she was supposed to get her commission this coward fires her without her ever even being written up.
Last ad final update for this owners reply. Funny you think you can insult me by saying it was a T-Mobile locked and financed phone? So why would someone have any business buying someone's locked and financed phone? I know you don't pay them off? For starters the phone was NOT financed on any place at all, it was paid off. As for being locked to T-Mobile I don't know if it was didn't think so. There's no chance I'd EVER do any kind of business with HNK2 LLC! You're...

I entrusted my $3,000 custom-built computer to the Fruit Fixer Davenport location. It remained in their care for three months. Three months. And yet, no meaningful progress was made. Parts took weeks to arriveâone even took a full month. In an age where next-day shipping is the norm, this kind of delay is unacceptable. I can get car tires from California overnight. Why canât a tech shop source basic components in a timely manner?
Communication was nearly nonexistent. I was left in the dark, waiting for updates that rarely came. But the most egregious failure was their technical incompetence. They cycled through guessesâpower supply, motherboard, wires, caseâwithout ever checking the RAM. The most basic diagnostic step. Thatâs like a mechanic ignoring the car battery while troubleshooting a no-start issue.
And after all that? My machine was returned in worse shape than it left. Missing a power cord for the fan hub. CPU cooler mounted upside down. The GPU stand that came with my 4070âgone. Scratches on the GPU IO shield that werenât there before. These arenât minor oversights. Theyâre signs of careless handling and disregard for the value of the equipment.
I paid $50 for this service. It feels more like theft than repair. If youâre considering Fruit Fixer, reconsider. Use a Best Buy return policy. Use anyone else. I regret trusting them with my build, and I hope this serves as a...
Read moreThe back of my iPhone was cracked. I took it in and they replaced it. After I got home, I realized the front screen had a green dot on it from being damaged that was not there before. I took it in for a second time and they replaced the screen for free, however, afterwards I had a permanent notification on my settings app stating that I didnât have an authentic iPhone screen. After about a week it went away on its own, but my phone screen is nowhere near as bright as it used to be. In broad daylight I can barley see my phone screen, even with the brightness turned all the way up. Iâm over it and will not take my phone back for a third time. I wonât be using this...
