Village Shopping Center — Local services in Davenport

I went in to the new metro pcs store and ported my phone over from Iowa wireless don't get me wrong the reception has been great when I moved back here from Florida 6 yrs ago that's who I was going thru and it had great service the whole way back and every where I went here, it worked so well in fact that I just kept paying my bill over the phone and continuing to use there service but after a year they contacted me and let me know u had to find a new service provider because my phone was on to me the whole time and it was costing them a fortune, so naturally I switched over, but I've been waiting every since for them to move here, so imagine how disappointed I was to go in there and see the women behind the counter be so short and rude. She wasn't at all helpful, I'm just gonna chalk it up to she was having a really bad day because the service...

I visited the County Treasurers’ office today, to renew my tags for my vehicle. Not only was I an hour and a half early for my appointment (roads were very clear today!), but I asked a lovely lady at the desk if there were any way I could handle this now.... and she replied “Yes, absolutely”! I feel sometimes bad for these frontline workers, and as many persons they are exposed to daily. FYI.. They provide and require Hand Sanitizer upon Entrance. She was very kind, very quick, very efficient. I know a lot of DOT/Treasurers get a bad rap, so I am very pleased to definitely recommend you call, make your appointment as required, and give them a smile behind that mask.... they deserve...

Visiting from Ohio, they had some interesting items not available back home. Love the variety of shops..great customer service. Employees masked, I felt safer! Easy check out! Oh and prices...just GREAT!

I have to mention the Family Restaurant out front. From our entrance to exit, busy place, great food..be certain when you order to bring appetite...( or hollow leg) our server Rita(?) Was slammed but smiling! Fresh food, plentiful, ( could share an omelet), bottomless coffee( never got empty!) Thanks for great first meal on first day...
