On 6/11/2025 between 8pm- 9pm I came to ross wit my baby to shop I ended up finding some really nice things that I liked and I wanted to check out, but then realized I had set my phone down in the store somewhere and lost it. I proceeded to ask one of your associates (ortenica) if Could I use the store phone or their phone to help me find it as in call my phone she got so rude telling me that no I cannot use her personal property because she doesn’t know what I’m gonna do with it understandable I guess even though I just told her I lost my phone. I wanted help calling it so I can find it so I told her that’s fine. I don’t have to use her personal property if I could use the store phone that would be great she proceeded to tell me no she had other things to do so I then walked away and tried to go look for my phone. I still couldn’t find it so I asked another associate that was in sight.(shaniqua) she was about to let me use her phone and then the other associate.(ortenica) yelled from across the store and told her not to let me use her personal property to help me find my phone so I just asked her. Can she call the cops to help me because I Uber here and I have a kid and I have no way of getting home or contacting someone without my phone at first she told me no she wasn’t going to call the police off her phone. I asked her can she do it off the store phone she picked up the store phone act like it didn’t work but what a crazy coincidence the phone rang literally a minute later the other associate.( shaniqua) then pulled me to the side sympathize with me and offered to let me use her phone the whole time the other associate.(ortenica) had a look on her face as if she was was mad that shaniqua let me use her phone after an hour of looking around and crying soon as let me use her phone. I found it. I thanked her so much. She was a very sweet girl. She deserves a raise, but the other one.( Ortenica) when I told her that I’ll be calling about her and putting it in a review for her customer service, she said in a snappy way “good I’m glad they’ll be sure to hear it have a good day “ while my face was full of tears after thinking me and my son wasn’t gonna have a way home because I couldn’t find my phone & the store was closing soon Shaniqua GOLD STAR she handled the situation very polite but ortenica on the other hand I hope Your not proud of who you hired & how she treats ppl Ross is a great store but I never wanna step foot in there again because of that poor customer service experience that was horrible and...

Me and a friend went in last Saturday about 330pm and had couple hundred worth of clothes and we didn't see the small sign they had telling you to go this way to register so we ended up in the wrong lane. Fine we figured it out. Then 2 other customers did the same thing and the loss prevention girl gonna say to the other customers in your not suppose to be around this way and I simply said don't feel bad we did the same thing then the manager Becky pipes up and says there's a sign right there if you would look and I said well 4 customers didn't see it she then proceeds to get smart and said well read it's that simple! I threw all my stuff on the counter and left and she says have a good day ladies being a smart ass the whole time and we went to citi trends and the more I thought about how rude this manager was the more mad I got so I walked right back down there to get the managers name but the loss prevention girl said she wouldn't come up but her name was Becky and Becky was on the phone with the loss prevention girl as they laughed I will never shop here again and with the store being so new here in Davenport not a good way to start... the manager is unprofessional and very rude and belittled 5 customers I called corporate so let's see how corporate appreciates...
Read moreI will never go here or to any Ross ever again. i had a Puma wallet to exchange, with my receipt, and the CC i used to buy it, so they claimed they could not take it in exchange because, it did not have the Ross tag on it, so we do not even know you got it here, and the receipt did not say Puma wallet on it... then she said the policy was on the back of the receipt, no such language, then she just underlined the corporate number and website... so i bought the other wallet, and told them to keep the receipt and the other wallet. Now i know it was only $12.99, but the principle of the whole thing is mind boggling.... not every one wants to steal items from your store, sometimes we just don't like what we bought, and we have no way of knowing your internal policies without them being written on the Ross Stores...
