GATHERED GOODS — Local services in Davenport

Let me first say that gathered goods is a very beautiful and well put together store, however customer service can be sketchy. I was a vendor there and was always treated well. The only reason I left was not being able to financially afford to keep up inventory along with other life situations. I did send a message to the stores business page and got no response. I voiced how much I love the store and I do find owners to be good people. Now that I am no longer affiliated as a vendor I feel customer service is lacking. I’m not saying everyone, but mainly one individual that pretty much keeps up the day to day operations. I did previously state of the reason of my separation but that does not mean I am broke by any means. If I choose to purchase an item I shouldn’t bet told to keep walking when admiring and contemplating making a larger purchase. The last time I was in i flicked a cigarette but in parking lot and I pushed instead of pulling the front door to enter. I was raked across the coals for those actions. I didn’t do these things intentionally . Not to make a scene I walked around the store and then made my exit. Maybe the above mentioned employee thought she could talk to me this way since I was a vendor. I have made some good Acquaintances with some awesome vendors during my time there. I contemplated not making a review as to not hurt any vendors sales and gave owners the opportunity to hear and attempt to resolve my concerns but that didn’t happen. I brought my family here over the weekend. We wanted to check out this new store in Davenport. We ended up spending a fair amount of time checking out each of the vendors' items for sale.. I couldn't believe how many really neat things there were. I was able to find a couple more items to decorate our family room. This will definitely be a great place that I'll come shopping at for gifts!!! I can't wait to...
