I am giving two stars for my last visit. I normally do curbside, or order online. It would be less, but thankfully Jordan stepped in. I visited on Monday, November 21 around 1pm. I found the make up palette my cousin wanted, but couldn’t find the perfume she liked. Jordan told me we could order it in store to ship to home. I thought awesome less headache. Haha totally wrong. I walked around a little more, and decided to check out. A newer gal was helping me check out. She couldn’t find my account. Okay, things can happen. The older lady then started asking me what’s my number, name, email, and then address. I said hold on your not creating a new account. She said no, I said can you make sure because I don’t want to lose my points. Fast forward to the ordering of the product. Jordan set in to help this older woman. Jordan asked her did she have correct information. The lady said yes. When the order was completed I was told I’d get an email. No email, so I looked at my receipt, and notice the older lady created a new account. I was lied to and upset. I spoke with Jordan, and Jordan found out older lady sent the information to wrong email. Jordan advised me to call customer service. So at this point 45 minutes was spent on trying figure out what happened. I get home and call guess services one gal took hour and didn’t help, and then gave me a scare when she said the lady’s can’t help order things at store to ship at home. So I hung up because I had to get my children. Get home call again on the phone for 1 hour and 50 minutes when finally the rep stated they couldn’t find the order, receipt, or my card use to purchase. The rep said he would send this into a different department, and it would take 48-72 hours. Finally today I called spending yet again another two hours, and finally found out my order was out to be delivered, and sent the order information to my email. So over 5 hours just for one order. Talk about stress. I wasted all this time, and yet No apologize, nothing. No compensation nada. I might as well cut out the middle man (Ulta) and go through the actual companies I...
Read moreWent shopping with granddaughter. Didn't have the advertised special she wanted in the store. Tried to order it from the store. The cashier couldn't find my granddaughters file when ordering. Granddaughter told her not to set up a new account. Cashier set up.a second account. After not receiving an email right away before we left the parking lot. Granddaughter went back into store talked to the cashier next to the one who didn't listen and set up a second account she tried to help got manager. Told granddaughter to call customer service to straighten out the mess. First agent said orders couldn't be placed from store. Granddaughter said I placed several orders from Davenport store before and wouldn't listen. Granddaughter hung up . Called customer service again got representative who spent about 45 minutes figuring out finally whatt the 50 to 60 year old cashier had done. Granddaughter had a charge against her credit card and no receipt was given at the store. It took the whole afternoon to get this straightened out. Granddaughter had several earned points from previous orders and in store purchases. All I can say is Adrian the customer service representative deserves a raise for all the work he did to get the mess cleared up . The cashier had cashier's on either side of her who both asked if they could help she refused their help. If I had her as an employee of mine, I would fire her for all the company time and customer headache she caused by being too proud to accept help from the younger cashier's next to her. I had a rough time letting anyone do anything with my hair after my sister passed away suddenly a few years ago because she was my stylist for so long. My boyfriend talked me into trying the salon at Ulta and I've never been so glad. Although all the stylists are great and I love how personable and easy to talk to they all are, Diana is my miracle worker. With her work and recommendations I went from box- dyed black with bleached blonde under on only one section (over- processed, damaged, breaking, etc.) To what I have now. She was able to color correct my mistakes over time but in the process she gave me a color and style I could live with. When I went back recently and asked for a red shade she perfectly gave me what I needed for my skin tone and gave me a style that worked for my fine hair, made expert product recommendations that have brought softness and body and life back to my hair. The girls here are so sweet and attentive. I have always had great customer service with beauty purchases and returns too. I appreciate that the people are helpful and knowledgeable and never pushy!
