The food is always top notch the best! Not only do they do great with a steak but the grilled chicken and shrimp or fish dinners and all the sides...and bread...all are delicious! Kudos to the chefs!👏
$ 💶 Prices are as to be expected these days to go out to eat - so be prepared that it's not going to be cheap - but the food is worth it on those special occasions. Alcohol drinks are pricey everywhere too.
Sometimes the servers are a hit and miss on really good service, especially for the prices we pay to go out to eat.
For instance, bringing drinks right away... or utensils, napkins, bread, etc without us asking...remembering to check on your table for refreshing drinks, tastes of food and any other needs.
We are not big fans of having to take care of paying for our bill at the table with their computers on the tables...we go for service. But if thats what they need to get us in and out faster for others...🤷♀️
We also get a little confused as multiple servers help us at the table & deliver our food & drinks. Hopefully then there is a Tip Pool for All to share.💰
The atmosphere has not changed for many many years (well the peanuts are gone and for goodness health sake).
Music is just way too loud & noisy & crammed in & crowded definitely making id feel like a herd of cattle ...ironically.
This place needs more cleaning, refreshing and updating and cleaner bathrooms (on the hour as how crowded it is everytime we have been there & for health reasons) as it is a place where food is served & touched, cooked & eaten. This place has been here for oh 10 or 20 years...time for some updates.
We prefer to go to enjoy our delicious meals to get out and RELAX for prices we pay. Not sure if we will return if some changes aren't made.
But if you are into loud hustle and fast paced loud bustle at the dinner table then you will still enjoy your meal. 🙆♀️
This last visit was my birthday that I did not disclose. When I arrived, asked for a table I was denied and put on a wait list until the other 3 in my party got there. I asked to still get a table to order drinks and appetizers and was still denied. I waited 25 more minutes for my family and THEN a table as others got in ahead of me, a customer who wanted a drink and appetizers. The 3 teenage girls Hosting did not care one bit or offer me to go to the bar or not even the manager I asked to talk to. Front end service was poor and not what I want to ever encounter again when I go out to Dine and Relax. Lost sales...and may not return again. I almost walked but my 3 family members had arrived.
Texas Roadhouse is a fast paced loud and out dated environment with Delicious Food and some good servers.
Best wishes to their facility and future...
Read moreMy recent visit to Texas Roadhouse left me with mixed feelings, and unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by a significant issue. While the food was undeniably delicious and the waitress was friendly, the lack of consideration for the customers' comfort was a major letdown. Upon entering the restaurant, my friend and I were excited to enjoy a pleasant dinner. The ambiance seemed inviting, and the menu offered a variety of tempting options. Our expectations, however, took a nosedive when the restaurant decided to crank up the volume of their music to an excessively loud level. The blaring music disrupted our ability to have a normal conversation across the table, rendering the dining experience less than enjoyable. Concerned about this, I approached the closest staff member, only to be met with a dismissive response: "We are about to dance, and we'll turn it down after." This lack of regard for our comfort was disheartening, to say the least. Unsatisfied with the initial response, I sought out a higher-ranking staff member, hoping for a more understanding approach. Unfortunately, the second encounter yielded the same result – a nonchalant attitude towards our discomfort. It appeared that the staff had little concern for the well-being of their paying customers. While the food itself was commendable, the overall experience was tarnished by the apparent indifference of the staff to the customers' ability to enjoy a comfortable meal. If you're looking for a place to unwind, have a good time, and engage in conversation without having to shout over blaring music, I would not recommend Texas Roadhouse. It's regrettable that such a promising dining experience was overshadowed by the lack of consideration for the...
Read moreTo be honest, this is the last time I'm going to this restaurant. I've honestly never been a big fan of Texas Roadhouse, but my most recent visit was horrible and I won't miss anything from here (except maybe the bread and butter).
My wife, my son and myself went because we had some gift cards. We called ahead and did have to wait probably another 5 minutes to be seated, which really wasn't bad for as busy as it was. That and the rolls were the only good part of our visit.
1st we ordered an onion blossom. It was OK. It seemed to be undercooked and just wasn't that great. We only ate half and left the rest.
I ordered catfish, and my son and wife both got chicken strips (which is what they always get and seem to love). I guess they changed the breading because they looked totally different. My wife said that they were nothing but breading and that they were overcooked. My son didn't love them either, but ate more than my wife did. I got a 3 piece catfish and barely ate 1 of them. They were just mush inside and the breading was not good, they didn't have any flavor. Definitely the worst catfish I've had. The place was super busy and service was super slow. I can understand that some though considering it was busy. Overall the whole experience was Meh, and it was also very expensive (like everything).
The worst part of going to dinner at Texas roadhouse though, was after we left. I will just say my wife wasn't right for a couple days and I wasn't right for at least a week. My wife used to love this place, but she's on my side now. That was our last visit, and I'm not going to be...
