Read moreExtremeley poor customer service! I have spent $1,200 at this place (online and in store) in the last couple months as I gear up for an Antarctic expedition. Today, I showed up with 3 items to return (brand new never used condition and with their corresponding receipts). The receipts totalled about $300. The items I was trying to return were worth about 10% of that. Turns out 2 of the items are couple days past their 30 days return policy so the cashier was automatically giving me a store credit until the other cashier and Assistant Manager Niles intervened and said I was not eligble for anything. When I showed them their own online policy, which says items returned w/o a receipt OR past 30 may be elegible for a store credit, they were quickly to point out that the language includes "MAY"... Oh well. I guess I will just go back to...
Really decent discounts on outdoors gear. Happy to have a local brick-and-mortar Sierra.
The online store has a lot of incorrect product descriptions & specs. In 5 orders, I've gotten 2 with incorrect products. Returns of incorrect products require multiple emails to reimburse shipping; it's not a simple process.
