Do not shop here for retro video games . Nothing's priced in they try to get the maximum highest price possible . Down on Saginaw Street at retro replayed his prices are lower . I have dealt with him a few times on and off and everything is priced I went in there today and was looking at some game boxes for video game systems a little unusual. I didn't expect them to be priced. The young kid with glasses had to call his boss and ask him how much they were he first told me both were $40 each. Then when I went to pay with another high-dollar item which he had already quoted me on again same thing I didn't expect the price on it. He told me they were $80 each. Then he denied he told me that and I had a friend with me that heard him tell me the $40 price. And said I can call him back. Yes I didn't expect prices on those a bit of an unusual request. Then he doubled the price and then denied it. And I read a review shortly of another patron of this establishment again complaining about none of the Retro things being priced. Their response was all we're going to get tablets in the cabinets I was there last year about a year ago and they told me the same thing. So nobody's doing anything about this they're just trying to get the highest eBay price for their items instead of pricing them accordingly and leaving them alone. So anybody wanting to buy retro things be ready to basically pay eBay high price for them while they wait and look it up and try to soak you for as much money as possible. I am a collector and have a large collection of video. I know what things cost I know what things are worth I'm not trying to get it for nothing but you quote a price of something that was unusual and I'm okay with that but then turn around and lie to my face and double the price. I have been to at least a dozen or more video game shops in the surrounding areas from Taylor to Flint to Saginaw to Lansing to Bay City and all of their retro games are priced. Why do they keep telling this lie that they're going to put tablets up and they clearly are not because of a year ago they told me...

Do yourselves a favor and drive further, unless you like being annoyed by lack of pricing on items, and (not even kidding) them having to look up prices for items while you're waiting at the counter. The one fella even referenced eBay! And heck you didn't even know the prices on some of these games you might want to purchase. But after they've wasted your time looking up prices for their own games for sale, you're usually met with an awkwardly high total for the few things you've put on the counter. Not even rare or HTF games either. What a joke. All of their PS1 games are behind glass... No not just the rare ones ALL OF THEM, even trash PS1 titles. I don't care how many rare games come through your store or to hear your brag you did X amount of dollars on one video game. It comes off as pompous, especially when the pricing is such a chaotic mess. Also for disc based games, some small scratches are better left on disc, than immediately hitting the resurfacer. I bought a PS2 game from there which is suspiciously and surprisingly MUCH thinner than most other PS2 games. I'm guessing this one's seen the resurfacer quite a ton. But yeah, totally okay with never setting foot in here again lol Extra gas spent to go somewhere else, is easily justifiable because I'll have a better experience elsewhere. And...

First of all, and this is very important, THIS PLACE IS NOT LIKE GAMESTOP. When you walk into this place, it immediately feels comfortable and inviting. It's a well setup layout and you can just see your video game life flash before your eyes. Nostalgia and memories everywhere. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They dont try to "sell" you anything. They provide a means to happiness and satisfaction and you end up selling yourself games and accessories and walking out happy. It's one of the best resale video game stores I have ever been to. It's just clean and presentable and VERY WELL STOCKED. Everything from Nintendo and up, and everything you could think of in between. Stop by sometime if you're just looking to sit in your memories for a bit. Thanks for the cool collection you...
