Read moreWe tried Burger Barn this past Saturday. We were surprised at how pricy it was. We tried the Barn Burger and the fries. The burger was not any where near the size I was expecting for a 13$ burger. The bun and add ons made it look bigger but the meat patty was not what you would expect for a burger at this price. The fries were hot but the oil they were cooked in had an old taste to it. I got a burger and water, my wife a burger, fries and ice tea "combo". The bill came just shy of $33.00!! (without tip). I was also shocked that they charge you $1.00 to use your debit card. This is not acceptable since this is their cost of doing business and they should absorb that cost. We will not be returning. For that price we could have gone to Luckys and we both would have gotten fries with the burger and their meat patty is twice what the Burger Barn offered in their "signature" sandwich. If their pricing was a bit more realistic, we might have gone back. But $33.00 for 2 burgers and 1 fry is not what I consider value for your dollar. I talked with others who have gone there and they said the same thing. Not going back because of overpriced food. Sorry to have to post a bad review but maybe the owners will do...
Read moreThis used to be my favorite restaurant in Davison. The last couple of times I was there it was pretty darn expensive. Today an omelette and a salad was $32.86. now granted you do get a lot of food. It was $16 for my salad I asked them to put half of it in a box to go because there's no way you can eat that entire salad. The waitress came back and the scolded me told me the cook will do it this time because he's had extra time but don't expect him to do it again they charged me a dollar. My son got a farmer's omelette which was $12 he asked for a side of sausage gravy. He got about half a cup and we were charged $2. The owner a very nice woman must not have been there today because the girls in the front were bickering with the boys in the back. No one bothered to thank us for coming in I think I'm going to need to find a new restaurant to give my money to or just stop going out to eat. Things are just getting way way too expensive. Today's special was a Reuben sandwich with fries...
